Great music. No famous arias, but it’s sumptuous. And the performances are stunning. There’s a beautiful physicality the actors employ that you, as a performer, would respond to… The set usage is masterful too, the set moves a lot, and the actors move around the stage like an old silent movie. The plot is pretty confusing, but you’re 100% right that it doesn’t matter when you see it live.
