That note was a D8, its above the piano range and he sang it perfectly for 5 seconds with vibrato. It's what we would call a Whistle note in the west ❤

Di has more depth and wisdom in his pinky toe than the majority of us humans groping our way around the planet. He is profoundly self contained, aware, and blessed with a treasure chest of gifts. This is one of my fav live performances of Dimash; so emotional yet so cool - he is so elegant on stage/in this performance. Li Laoshi, I am not sure what songs of his you have a preference for reacting towards as he has so many noteworthy performances under his belt. His duet with Aida Garifullina, Ulysses; his duet with Li Yugang, Drunken Concubine + Diva Dance; his solo performance on Daybreak (I am not sure if you are familiar with this Han Hong's song and if you are, you can prob react to Dimash's Bastau concert version...u can also watch Di's Singer 2017 Gloria Wu's Daybreak version for the backstory for context); Across Endless Dimensions (original sound track for a movie); Love Is Like A Dream, Apr 2019 version (available on Dimash's KZbin channel - kindly subscribe to his channel. Thanks!); Samaltau (2019 Silk Road International Film Festival - Closing) - this is a Kazakh folksong and Dimash gave a very powerful performance; War and Peace, a mandarin song (Dimash composed the music and the lyrics was written by a Chinese) - another very beautiful piece of music with great message; Know (this 1 I am torn between a Music Video or 2019 New Wave live version 😃).
