Oh, oh, oh, Austin Brown just dropped his rendition of Bring Him Home from Les Mis, and it's truly a passionate, emotional prayer! I would LOVE to see and hear your reaction to it! You have never heard him sing like this before. 🥰🙏

The line, "I close my eyes and Im seeing you everywhere" by Andrea didnt get lost on me. The irony of not having his sight but also the ability to imagine the beauty around him. It speaks to the heart knowing his son is beautiful without ever physically seeing him. Bravo on this one.

Matteo is truly his father’s son, not just in voice quality and skills, but in the emotional connections. Andrea clearly loves his son and Matteo his father and they are proud of each other. To have this stand out in a music video is rare but wonderful. Really good choice, Richard. And a fine reaction from Maggie, including a portion of a duet with her own father. And the editing captured all these feelings. 🎹

That was special. If only Andreas could only see how handsome his son is as well. Andreas sounds very good to me still, but I get your point. It happens to all of us. His son is very talented, and I look forward to hearing more of Matteo in the future. I remember when the Three Tenors sang together, and informally but with Pavarotti's blessing Andreas became known as the fourth, and was honored as such on special occasions. In any case, thanks Maggie. Great review as always.

They've actually done a ton of versions of this song. Andrea always sings primarily in Italian or English, but there's versions where Matteo is singing in Italian, English, French, German and Russian. It's incredible how the different languages simultaneously make a huge difference and yet no difference at all to the feel of the song. Also, I strongly suggest you find and listen to the album version of any Meat Loaf song you enjoyed. The man (men, Jim Steinman is included in that) did not believe in short songs and much is lost is many of the radio or video edits. For example, the video of I'd Do Anything For Love that you watched is one of the longer edits of that song. It's a little under 8 mins long. The album version of it is 12 minutes. A big part of that is the 2 minute intro that is more than halved and an absolutely fantastic piece of music.
