The bassist, Paul Gray passed away in 2010. The drummer, Joey Jordison, passed away only a couple of months ago. This band has lost some brilliant minds behind their amazing music. But they are still as strong as ever! You should react to their songs Duality, Devil in I (written as a tribute to Paul), Unsainted, Nero Forte, and Snuff. The lead singer, Corey Taylor, is also the lead singer of Stone Sour. Their go to songs, only to name a few, are Gone Sovereign, Absolute Zero, Song #3, Through Glass, and Bother. Check them out! Corey Taylor is an absolute monster, though the genre is heavy metal, his voice is filled with such nuance and diversity, and his vocal range is phenomenal (an understatement at best) From his growls to his clean vocals, it's always stellar ! Others have said this already but definitely check out Snuff (live with just Corey Taylor) or other Slipknot songs like The Devil in I, Spit it Out (Live 09 at download), Duality, Before i Forget, or their 'newer' stuff Unsainted, Nero Forte, Critical Acclaim, Solway Firth !
