MAGGIE! I was as astounded as you were, at this beautiful version of this emotional song! WOW! Jordan's Audition on the voice, was CHANDEIER. Blake was the first to turn, and it was the beginning of Jordan's fantastic music career. Thank you so much for sharing this masterful piece with us. MAGGIE ROCKS! lol 😊

Jordan's vocal is stunning but the musical backing lends a gravitas to the lyrics that I have not heard in other renditions.

I knew this was going to be something good when I first saw Tommee Profitt's name. He always delivers quality. But Jordan Smith??? WOW! Who is this guy and how did he get so good? ☀

I don't know if you got an answer, but Jordan won the Voice in 2015. He basically owned the stage from the minute he walked on it and started singing. His performances are well worth checking out, especially Set Fire to the Rain (Adele) and Somebody to Love (Queen). Both have millions of views. And the kicker is that Jordan is an incredibly humble and sweet man. He now sings mostly Christian music as that is where his heart is.

Jordan Smith performed a slightly different version on "The Voice". I prefer this latest version as simply stunning!!. His voice control is enhanced tenfold.

Thanks for the reviews of Tommee Profitt! I first heard his arrangement of Can't Help Falling in Love sung by Diana Ankudinova. Your two recent reviews of his arrangements made me realize I need more Tommee Profitt. And can't go wrong with Jordon Smith.

Fun fact, Mark Lowry who wrote this song can’t read music.
@laurentelesca3921 Жыл бұрын
I love the music part of Mary did you know, but I get stuck on the whole thing being Songwriter Mark Lowry mansplaning Jesus to his own mother. Cause like, dude, you wrote this for church, you darn well knew she knew. He could have written “The Virgin Mary knew” instead, because it is very well documented that not only did she know, but she supported and believed in him.
