Get this video to 500k views and I will cover I pulled a QiQi.. I so enjoyed the experience of listening to this for the first time several weeks ago that I instantly knew that I needed to cover it. The purity of the vocal line and classical stepwise movements of the original are magnificent. I tried to emulate them as best as possible though my voice is categorized as a "lyric/spinto tenor" while the fantastic tenor performing in the original is more than likely a "leggiero" tenor. There are differences in weight and hue in the sub categories of the voice types, so you may hear a darker quality in my rendition than the original. In addition, the breathlessness of the original is masterfully done in creating that sense of desperation and rage. Interestingly, I also create that breathlessness but it comes across much more aggressive simply due to again the natural qualities of my trained voice. Such a fun experience singing a Mozartian melody in Genshin Impact. Thanks to @AtharavaMohite for the wonderful cover and rendition. It is certainly "operatic". There are reasons to love both and I think it speaks to the profound capabilities of the folks at Hoyo-Mix and Yu-Peng Chen that are able to create sublime and cover-able masterpieces. I love all 3 versions of that theme, they all focus on showing the same emotions, but each version taking a focus on different one. Concert one was the most retrospective and sad of all 3 versions, the singer focused more on expressing Scaramouche's sorrow and sadness caused by feeling rejected, than in your and in game version. The constant rhetorical question can be heard in a voice: why was I rejected and then betrayed? Your version expresses the anger the most, the intense feeling in the present, but it has retrospective moments that are more focused on that anger than sadness unlike other versions. This version is definitely the most sinister one and has the most vengeful undertone in it. On the other hand in in-game version I can hear that Scaramouche tries to hide his emotions the most, tries to be beneath them and seems more focused not on letting his sorrow or anger out, because he sees them as a weakness, but despite it the anger and even sadness can be heard. He is trying to not care and be apathetic, but it's impossible for him to not care

Amazing work, but I do have to point out that the lyrics you've used are only fan made and speculative and imo pretty shoddy in places. But regardless of what the lyrics are, you still really just manage to capture the Scara music vibe perfectly, and you've got such an amazing voice and talent. Goosebumps! I love the softness of the original especially in the japanese parts a lot, but xour voice brought such a great new angle to it! For me (as someone who has zero technical knowledge about music) the original feels a lot like the sadness and despair of a child. Lashing out because they don't know what to do. This is exactly the kind of remix that this song deserves. Something that still retains the amazing hybrid composition of the original track while taking a... somewhat more traditional(?) approach and capitalizing on the classical orchestra aspects of the vocals! I do feel it's worth pointing out that a tiny bit of a reverb effect applied to your voice probably would've helped it blend in more naturally with the rest of the track, since the orchestral nature of the instrumentation gave it this inherent feeling of coming from a wide open space, whereas it's a little easy to tell the vocal track was recorded in a much smaller space with sound dampening. That's just my few cents though, overall this is a fantastic piece

That was spectacular! Your latin pronunciation is so good that even an amateur like me can tell, what a good, authentic opera sound. I agree that your voice highlights the vengeful and spiteful aspect of Scaramouche's ascent more than the self-worth seeking desperation of it- 'She thought I was weak! He thought I should not exist! I will show them all by taking my rightful place in this world and by becoming more powerful than they can imagine.' That kind of emotion. I feel like there's a reason they needed that lower register chorus in the OG version; without it, we would be missing this aspect. I wonder if the full picture of Scara's emotions would be similarly complete in your version if you had a leggiero or lighter chorus accompanying you as you sing. Also, seeing you cover video game music is something I never knew I needed this much, hahaha! As an illustrator in the Genshin content creator program, I immediately thought it would rock to draw something that helps to boost your views for this video, but alas! Commissions take priority... Another big hit from Marco ! I love the arrangement for this piece, definitely more operatic and orchestral than the original, and the oppressive feeling is very present. I was really wondering how this one would turn out after the absolute big W of the Signora theme cover (I love it so much!). I was also a bit worried since the signer for Scaramouche had a higher pitch... But oh boy, why did I even worry, if Marco does a cover you know it's going to be good ! I love the flow from 1:13 to 1:40 , its like you can feel a sort of illumination/fulfillment (the japanese lyrics), then resignation and helplessness (you can hear the fragility), and finally huge despair. The whole song feels like a big downward spiral where Scaramouche slowly have to accept his darker self... I could be way off since I still havent played the Sumeru Archon quest line, but that's the feeling I get while listening ! My only gripe with this cover is... that the song isn't long enough, haha !
