Being a fly on the wall in the growth of Ohad Naharin and for a period working in his dance company, I must say. Rarely did I come across an individual who leaves such an impact on the audience and the artists he works with. It was always challenging to understand Ohad's language. But what is unique and straightforward (in life?). Ohad brings a gift to those who want to invest. On the stage and off the stage. We have been lucky and unbelievably blessed. We received a gift we can use throughout life. Ohad never meant to keep it for himself.

I appreciate being able to see the musical credits at the end, but could not find the composer who wrote the marimba ensemble starting at 2.53. Does anyone know who wrote that marimba music? Would love to know!

There is a definite style which these dancers are keyed into. He may say that Gaga is not a technique or a style, but these kids are riffing off of someone else's licks.

This is such a generalization that it is not at all clear to me what his practice is.

Sadly, there is something rather joyless and competitve about this class, this teacher. Dancers may feel freed up physically, but the atmosphere he creates is insecure; emotionally repressive.

thank you, finally someone sees it besides me, a total dictator in the hall, an old school choreographer. I am completely annoyed by people who ask what kind of music they play, I don't understand what they want with that music, copy it or what????
