Holy shit this is some Mercury Music Prize nomination, Burial-style gloriousness. My jaw hit the floor when this dropped; what an incredible piece of introvert D&B. This could well be my tune of the year. It's certainly my favourite slice of atmospherics in a minute.

@@lukeboyes-varley9446 sorry for the delay dude, wasn't paying attention for a while there! Okay, so "introvert" DnB is the term I've started using for any tune which makes you shut out the world around you. Usually written in a minor key, they don't feature any of those euphoric elements that a lot of other D&B tunes use but (unlike some of the real heavy dancefloor stompers) there's an element of Liquid D&B's more melodic form in there too. As for examples, it's for sure partially subjective, but stuff like S.P.Y. - Underbart, the super recent 'Kallisto' by Camo, Krooked and Mefjus (and 'Siren' by Mefjus too), some of Noel and/or Eastcolors work (particularly their collaborations!). You get the picture; in essence it's "any tune which makes me close my eyes, put my head down and get lost in my own, private little universe."
