I work at a small local pizza restaurant and this situation has been so strange. My hours were cut from 40 to 26. During the day I might make literally 10 pizzas or less. At night when people are more likely to order takeout I might make 90-100 pizzas and we get slammed from 4 pm to close. We actually had to hire a new delivery driver because one on night shifts wasn’t enough. Every day there is a new change. Restaurants are always in some sort of state of flux though. Its also quite strange working with drastically reduced staff and no customers inside the restaurant.
