Anyways carry out Is going pretty well, despite 3/4 of our staff being laid off we were able to hire a couple back and pay them on days off. Shit we started doing so good we’re selling 2x more food than usual, we’re donating food to our local hospitals now 🙏🏽 but we should also bring awareness to homeless people and all those who lost their job and won’t be able to eat. Remember we’re all human and spread love peace and positivity 🙏🏽🙏🏽 that’s the only way we’ll get trough this

I work at a small local pizza restaurant and this situation has been so strange. My hours were cut from 40 to 26. During the day I might make literally 10 pizzas or less. At night when people are more likely to order takeout I might make 90-100 pizzas and we get slammed from 4 pm to close. We actually had to hire a new delivery driver because one on night shifts wasn’t enough. Every day there is a new change. Restaurants are always in some sort of state of flux though. Its also quite strange working with drastically reduced staff and no customers inside the restaurant.
