Step 1: Incursing isolated teeth into normal saline to simulate the root canal environment. Incursing metal rod into normal saline to simulate the lip.
Step 2: insert the file.
Step 3: Clamp the file with metal rod to simulate lip hook hanging into the lip.

I am using woodpecker apex locator When we start progressing the file upto 00 mark we will stop Now that is the working length 00 or we have to reduce by 0.5 mm to 1mm from working length measured upto 00mark to assess the correct working length

Hello Dear , I have aproblem with my apex locator wood pex III , when the file is over in x.ray the apex don't give me reading in the red zone although it gives reading in the red zone when touching the lip hook with the file clip . What is the cause ?
