Operation: Recall wave 1 package art reference photos

Now that we have the 1:18 scale accessories printed, it’s time to pose some figures and shoot reference photos for Doug Hart, our veteran package painter! Here’s a look at some options we are considering for the wave 1 figures. Next, Ed Morrill will choose the final selections and we’ll kick off with Doug!

Its been real cool seeing the step-by-step process on how these figures get to final form (from concept, design, sculpting, packaging, etc). You never get to see this process with your favorite toy lines and this has been a treat in itself. Thanks Carson!

Another Gentleman refered to Carson as Our Ambassador for 3 3/4 O ring figures. I totally agree with that. I wished Damselfly's original combat boots were kept in, but I'm looking forward to seeing Her finished look. As a Collector who wanted 3 3/4 O ring Wrestling Figures for years, Sol is definitely a must have. I'm glad the belt is removable. Maybe, He will be defending it against a future Operation Recall enemy Character?👍🏾

Ah, thanks for the kind words! Sol Eagle’s creator has an idea for an arch nemesis (wrestler type) and he’s got an awesome back story. I hope this line goes on for many, many years, we are all having so much fun pulling it together.

When do you think we will be getting our action figures around? maybe this year? or when??? rough time frame and yes we know it takes time for greatness but people want to know,

No chance this year. Next year I hope to start delivering in waves. As with the book, I won’t make up a delivery timeline, I’ll wait for the factory to tell me it’s my turn, then when they’ve got a schedule I’ll share it. Thank you for your patience!

Very cool, thanx for sharing this with us. I wonder what are these models You are using. Did You design and print them as well for this very purpose or did You get them somewhere to pose in this photo session? My only hope with the packaging art is that all those accessories won't cross it's territory and it will remain uncovered on the card, so that we could see it in full glory. And of course it would be cool it art could make the best of the character and his gimmicks, tho obviously it would be impossible to portray all the options available with them :) Therefore with Sol Eagle i guess You could actually ditch the pistol fromt he art for the sake of presenting the gatling, as that's what sells, and with Damselfly, i vote for a pose that will emphasise her "talents" ;)
