That man is the true definition of a father. He didn't give up on a child that everyone had begged him to abandon even though it wasn't his biological child. He raised him and loved him as a father would. I have a lot of respect for that man!

Our school is raising money to help them we're having bake sales, casual days, marathons to help contribute. It's so sad not all of them get the chance to get the operation

my older sister (shes now 15) was born with a cleft lip and palate but we cant donate because we don't have enough money, even though my mum said that this is one of the only charites that she'd donate to :( but my other sister (shes 25) her friend is having a baby with a cleft lip and palate she is convinced that it is her fault so we're giving her advice and stuff so she knows that it isnt her fault and her baby can still have a 'normal' and happy life. :D

I also was born with an Incomplete Cleft Palate, which is a minor opening of the roof of the mouth. Even though my doctor said that my cleft palate was a minor one. I can still see and feel the difference in the way I speak sometimes. Because I still have trouble pronouncing some words.

I am so happy to hear of your son. God bless you and him. I was wondering... most surgeries we see fix the outer facial deformities such as the lips, nose and gums but are palettes also repaired during these procedures? thanks in advance.
