It's not about Russians. It's making fun of the fictional British "superspy" James Bond; the generic villain in those movies is always either Germanic or Russian.

@@user-yu6pj7rp4w як типово для росіян, нічого нового, що аж сумно. ви ж всі "без политєки", "нічєго не решаем", але "можєм повтореть". просто доводиш те, що росіяни тільки те й вміють, що підтримувати свою владу мовчанням і закривати рота тим, кому щось не подобається у вашій владі. як згадувати про свою національність (через якийсь дріб'язок і нити, що вас постійно зображують як злочинців), так ви перші. а як вам нагадуєш, на ваші ж коментарі, про наслідки вибору вашої національності і чого у світі таке ставлення до росіян, так "тут без полєтеки". тобто, р.федерація вже відтяпала землі не однієї країни і все, що ти хочеш - це щоб про це не згадували або згадували там, де не побачить достатньо людей? взагалі цікаво, чого ж ти на своїй рідній російській мові не пишеш? й до речі, трішки логіки: у відео злочинець з російським іменем - коментар про те, що росіян постійно зображують як злочинців - коментар підтвердження і пояснення чому росіян часто зображують як злочинців і взагалі чому таке ставлення. виходячи з цієї логіки, твій коментар про те, що політика тут ні до чого - недоречний. бо вже одна асоціація росіян як злочинців побудована на політиці :)

Political Propaganda

Keep in mind that this movie was being developed many months ago, long before Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The "secret agent" genre has been featuring Russia (and its allies) as the villain for decades, so this satire is true to form. Yes, there's an element of political propaganda to it, but it's not a response to recent events.

@@jpolowin0 yea, as you mentioned it's long period of time propaganda, full one not just fragment... West winned all cultural wars so they need "bad guys" to maintain aggressive forigen policy, invading forigen country's, overthrowing and reinstalling governments etc... So Russia is "bad guy" but what you don't see is 2014 installing Zelenski puppet, NATO on Russian border etc... That's why this thematic will alvays be propaganda...

I think you'll find it's more taking the p1ss out of the James Bond superspy genre.
