Yep. They should expand this game mode so that it can be something like 7 subs (on one team) vs. 7 light surface-vessels (on the other team; maybe all destroyers, or a combination of destroyers and light cruisers, perhaps), purely multiplayer. Such a game mode and the Wolfpack mode could be the only game modes to feature submarines, so as not to potentially reduce the already existing game modes.

No kill steals in this game, and if you think there is, you don't belong in this game. We play for wins, not kills.

The only way a "kill steal" affects you is if you have 4 kills and don´t get a Kraken bexcause someone kills a ship you thought you would kill before end. The experience points comes from inflicting damage on enemy ships. The higher the percentage of the enemy ship´s points you damage the more XP you get. Capping is the other that gets you a lot of XP. And yes MicroFX is right. Play for wins not kills. So my advice is simple: inflict a lot of damage and cap or give close support to cap instead of sailing around in the backlines screaming for others to cap and cursing kill steals.

Totally unrealistic, historically absurd and incompatible with the game these subs are. Acoustic torpedoes very few were ever made very late in the war and were not reliable. They homed in on the noisiest sound source. Nations had vastly different subs, one had a crush depth of 90 ft where its counter part had way more. This depth was needed to escape destroyers by making the sub signature smaller to its active ASW detection system. Air cover meant disaster for subs because these were more submersible vessels not true submarines as they could not stay underwater long enough and its why they came up with the snorkel system to operate at periscope depth without having to shift to battery powered motors or running out of air for the crew. The snorkel left a wake behind it by which some watchmen detected subs. They were meant to disrupt shipping. Of course unescorted scattered or hiding or warships in harbor could and a few did fall prey to them. WG has this psychological issue to always disregard the wishes on their playerbase so here we are today. Game used to be fun and more adhesive than glue and now what.

Realism was just a part of my post. It is spot on. The game has devolved and it has become shit in just 2 years. From several hundreds of players in queue to a few dozen at best now. So if they add dragons dropping aerial fireballs on ships based off of real world ships and someone complains you will say its arcade and its ok. Its not. It is what has killed the game coupled with WG's inability to make the right choices. But please, go ahead and complain about my complaint about realism, lel.
