This is the most wholesome war game I've ever seen. I hope what I just said makes sense. And this is the most realistic shooter as far as I know. The recoil, the sounds, the bullet damage (nobody is a bullet sponge) And it also nailed the war atmosphere and the local chat makes it way more immersive.

One time my squad had an Abrams and a troop carrier circling us like hungry wolves as we hid individually in single man sized bushes. They started shooting bushes individually but only got a couple of us. We were saved by a random AT guy with no mic that happened to be walking by.

Play project reality it can be done that way because it uses a kit system so if the guy with a LAT dies you can pick it up and take it. Squad was built to be the successor to PR but then they did away with key features like fast air

Former Arty Gunner here: Drew, if you aren't already in the military, I think you'd make a good soldier. You're always open to helping other members of your team perform better in your games and you have a good understanding on how to communicate to other players on a clear, brief and concise manner. Also, you've got a great sense of humour and when you're on any kind of team, especially one where you have to deal with a lot of bullshit that gets thrown at you out in the field, I can tell you this much that it needs as many guys and gals as it can get to take the edge off it all. In addition to all of that, you're a humble guy. To me, that makes a valuable member of any team, especially your combat trades like Infantry, Engineer, Artillery etc. Edit: Also, the reason you guys flipped is because someone forgot to sing Country Roads by John Denver.

Did you also know that the military is also used to defend one's own country and also aid in relief and rebuilding from man made and natural disasters of other countries? I was in the Canadian army and I joined not because "I wanna go kill some MUTHA FUCKIN' BABIES! HOO RAH EH!!! BRING ON DA MUTHA FUCKIN' BABIES!! I'LL EVEN MAKE SOME IED'S OUT OF 'EM YEAHHH!!!". I joined with the knowledge and hope that my gov't would actually be putting me to use and that we wouldn't be used for ill-intent and if it turned out that hypothetically if I was given an unlawful/immoral order, I'd refuse because contrary to Hollywood and popular belief, soldiers are allowed to refuse orders as long as the orders are illegal/can get you and/or your section killed. Long story short about that one: Trying to use "I was just following orders" isn't a legal defense and you still get fucked, and we know that.
