I already posted this but she looks like the budget Operetta. from the kohl's clothing store. The only difference is, this one has bangs and no purple lipstick.

I think the biggest thing for me is the eyes. The old Operetta dolls have what I can only describe as “bedroom eyes”. They were more narrow with a heavier eyelid. She also had somewhat of a smirk. Her overall look was “come hither” and the new one is “don’t fuck with me”. The original also looked at you - the new one kind of stares into space past you.

I love her and I've actually really started to like Lenore too. I won't have the money to buy until the beginning of next month so I hope they'll still be available 🤞 since feelings on them seem mixed. The prices are too high and it's the only thing that causes me to hesitate.

g3 has references to operretta in some background posters, so far idk if shes coming in s2 but if s3 ever gets picked up then she most likely should appear there

I love this operetta but she just feels like shes missing something. This doll feels more like a early prototype then actual final doll. Also i think the reason why her face looks off is because her eyes are more rounded and her top lashes aren’t as heavy as her og face.

I just edited my post, but I realize something she looks like facewise like The budget doll from kohl's . The only difference is that the Operetta from kohl's store had purple lipstick but had the same eye shadow and no bangs. What this doll looks like is just the upgraded version of her.

Usually, I hate making changes to my collector dolls, especially if I don't have a spare to keep as is. However, I really felt Operetta was lacking something. So, I made some minor changes to mine such as adding a treble clef charm to her belt as a buckle, I painted the black dots on her dice earrings, I bedazzled her mask with red gems and gave it a gloss varnish, and I added chrome detailing to her guitar purse. I also purchased a leather jacket I intend to put her in once it arrives

Fantastic! 👍 The earrings got me too. It was my first observation: dice dots on her headband and not on the earrings???!!! OG Operetta got them on HER earrings, and OG's hair OMG.....I'm going to try to find someone who can do her hair in Lily Tomlin's Ernestine character. 🥰 Wouldn't that be beyond fabulous to get an Operetta as Ernestine Skullector doll???? 🥰❤️

I think i'll just get one of her orginal dolls. Was thinking of Roller Maze cute outfit. Also she just has a high pony so i don't have to worry to much about glue slippage. Plus her helmet covers her hair. She would look cute displayed by my Ghoulia.

It’s funny you put stitched in style in the video last night I was looking at her looking at operetta going I don’t get it! I got Frankie on sale actually as a present for Christmas but I told the person what I wanted and she was on sale so they didn’t even spend $50 and operetta IS a $70 plus doll cause we ain’t getting something this year. Plus I get charged tax on my membership! Unless it’s Lagoona or one of the water monsters or Scarah or some character I really love and want more dolls of next year I’m skipping the membership next year. Be different if it gave you priority getting high value dolls but it don’t. So I see no longer a use in it

I love the membership exclusive dolls so far like fangvote jinefire this opperetta and ghoulexxe ghoulia are crazy good I do agree it's a little too expensive but that's just generally collector ones are always expensive Also people HATE the face saying it's too much like G2 as far as I've seen and I don't think it's specifically sposed to be her G2 look I think it's just they tried remaking it since they no longer have the ones from 10 years ago Overall 9.5/10 perfect doll just a little plain compared to what we have been spoiled with

I bought her. Yes, overpriced, but I just got into them last year & I'm playing catch up, and had serious FOMO. I did just buy one, not the two per customer limit. I'm unboxing ALL of them G1, G2, G3, Skullector, Fang votes, everything when my craft/collecting and hobby space is done. They're very interactive to me...for posing, dressing, embellishing. Just amazing. Best thing Mattel's ever done.
