You have the best crunch tone and mix of just about any other youtuber I’ve watched. Please more old opeth!

You're my go to for Opeth covers dude! You play amazing and have great sound quality. I was wondering, are you planning on covering A Fair Judgement?

Will see, but it's not a very suitable song for playing it on one guitar and one take)

@@antonmilko If you decide to cover it, your cover would probably be the only actually good one that can be found on youtube, I at least haven't found any

You make the best Opeth covers by far. I have just learned Blackwater Park because of your video so thank you very much! As someone that likes to record music, and get better at it, could you please share with me how you nail down the recorded tone so well? What Post-production tools do you use and how do you layer the sounds? Furthermore, do you record all the music and then just record the video or do you do everything on the go? Could you be so kind enough to share what you know, or provide references to what helped you?

Thank, I'm happy that it helps learning) The tone comes from an amp Laney IRT60H to a loadbox Torpedo Live and Ownhammer impulse responses (mesa v30 cab) On the post prod I use just an EQ to cut frequences below 80-90Hz and above 10-11KHz. In the solo sections I add some delay. I record video and audio at the same time (On couple acoustic videos I've added an additional track later) So in most cases I have just one audio track that I put in the the mix with original song, as simple as that)
