old Opeth is the only growly I can listen, and it's 100% thanks to the music. I understand why they don't do it anymore. It's not "necessary" for their music. Some die hard fans could kill me for such heresy :)

I used to dislike death growls as well but thanks to listening the fuck out of Opeth and Between the Buried and Me, I know enjoy them and I discovered the beauty of death metal. I hope you can do too someday because the growls in this particular song are sooooooo gooooooood
