Seen him live in Cologne when Heritage came out. "We play a sub genre of metal. It's called shit." He's down to earth but also a good entertainer. They let the music speak for itself, a rare feat in professional musicians of this caliber.

Mikael is amazing. I have always loved the intro's man. As much as I understand people change and get older and their music changes. The music he made around ghost reveries time was the greatest music ever. I loved how his songs would go from soft and melodic and transition into heavy only to return to the melodic sounds. He will always be one of my favorite musician's of all time. I love the fact that he is a fun and well spoken guy as well.

Because of this video I decided to to try and imitate his growls and make a short Ghost of Perdition clip of it since his scream/growls have always been some of my favorites due to how ''fine'' the distortion from his voice sounds. I'm really quite happy with the growls since I seem to use the same sort of technique to produce them... now... to start on the cleans lmao.
