Nice. Thank you. I have been trying to figure out how to make a bolster. i imagined a rectangle sewn together lengthwise and two ends applied separately. This tube method seems so much easier. Wow. Now how to work in some decorative stitches also?... Much less of a hassle this way. tytyty

hi ophelia! excellent video, can't wait to try make this. do you have recommendations for an alternative to acrylic yarn? i'd prefer a natural material but don't know what would work... looking forward to hearing your suggestions :)

I was just wondering if this technique would work for covering the arm of an armchair? My grandmother is wanting me to make covers of some description and I'm at a complete loss as to what I can do to about it. Any advice you could offer would be greatly appreciated! :)
@mandaeugene18255 жыл бұрын
I'd probably make it the same but instead of going in the round for the body. I'd go back and forth leaving an opening of about 3 or 4 clusters.

Why the double crochets in the beginning? Does it just help you to build stitches faster?

How much weight of yarns should be of one crochet pillow cover
@ooohlaa136 жыл бұрын
I had reservations about the concept because I was thinking of the funky Aunty Grandma kind of toilet paper covers, but this is gorgeous and the colors actually looked quite sophisticated next to each other. I am a lifelong knitter but minimal crochet but I think I can do this. What is the hook size??
@OpheliaTalks6 жыл бұрын
I probably used a 3.5, ooh, I never thought about the toilet roll cover, but now that you mention it! LOL!!

What was the weight of most of your yarns that you used so I can know amd the yarn needle you used???
@OpheliaTalks2 жыл бұрын
The yarn is a DK, so weight 3/light worsted, and l use a 3.50mm hook, l hope this helps Heather, Anja x
@LoveIsInTheHouse2 жыл бұрын
@@OpheliaTalks okay thanks.. now another a question and I’ll not ask anymore lol what happens if the bolster pillow you are making it for is bigger do you just keep going with 7, 8,9, and 10 rows but changing up the double in those stitches? I hope that makes sense lol
