I 💕all the denim color yarns out now. Drops even has recycled Cotton or cotton blend in denim colors. Almost every brand has at least one denim color. Thanks!The bag is adorable.

I noticed that whenever I try and start my magic circle, I won't be able to pull the hole tightly. The yarn just gets stuck in the knot. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong as I followed your instructions, and you gave perfectly clear ones as well.

Thank you for this easy tutorial. I made the base circle a little larger with hopes of keeping my Caron Big cakes in check. Even though I totally messed up the counts and stitches :), the pattern is so forgiving it's totally not noticeable. The drawstring cinches up wonderfully to corral those cakes that completely fall apart a third of the way in.

These are so pretty .. eat instructions to follow.. my only question is how do I make them so the holes are tighter. I used peaches and cream cotton 8-4 but I still have holes... Please help... Should I maybe use, cotton 8-8??

Something I accidentally did but actually like the look of a lot is doing the bottom with looser stitches and then doing the final ring with tighter stitches on a slightly smaller needle. It makes the edges curl up naturally and gives the bag a rounded look :D (Then skip the 'corner' row and move straight onto the sides.)

@@faridabohra7355 I don't know the technical term, but the row where you transition from doing the bottom to doing the side, by only go through half the stitch (one loop instead of two) that makes it have an angle. Does that make sense?

On the row where you're going into the top loop to start building the sides of the bag. At the end, you've done all your hdc in each st. Are you going into the "V" of the chain or of the first hdc?

I think I will be making this purse for my Sister in Law, in fall colors, but I'd like to make it a bit wider at the base, by maybe 2 more rounds. Need some guidance as to pattern to use for those 2 rounds?

Hi Debbie, for the next 2 rows you just need to follow the same pattern using one extra stitch each time between the increasing, this will make the rounds grow. Hope that helps, Anja x
