This is a 78-year-old ex-military & civil airline pilot retired here in beautiful Dorchester, England. Such a lovely set of new young musicians coming up. Gives me hope in this sad world. So, I never liked The Band growing up, but as I got older, I started to "get it". Last weekend, a band I was in tried this song live on stage without rehearsal - and it was a hit. Pretty good (for us) considering we'd never played it, which made me today start looking up KZbin clips of the real thing to hear how badly I'd played it. And I came across THIS - which is pure awesome. Seriously, this is one of the best things musically I've seen in a really long time. So much character and uniqueness, and you all played it really well. Thank you for making my day (and possibly my week)...

As a massive The Band fan I rarely listen to Utube covers of their songs and, to be honest, I don't know why I chose to click on this version. I have to say I was blown away. The performance was unself-conscious and beautifully understated, and the arrangement was perfect. I'm definitely going to check out more of their material. 👌👌🪕🎷👌

That is what I thought "Awesome" Always looking for a new sound. This is better than the original. Ophelia was written by Robbie Robertson around 1968 or 1969 and recorded by a group that called themselves "THE BAND"

I'm really loving this. Not just this cover, which is excellent, but your whole Sunday morning series, which have all been excellent. Hello ladies. I only wanted to say thank you for your tunes. Ophelia is a one of my favorites. I bought all of the Band's records usually the day they were released on vinyl. You guys choice of material for your "Sunday Mornings" rodeo is wonderful. May I respectfully suggest a Tom Waits. Love the vibe. Been a huge Band fan since 1968 and found very few who could cover their masterpieces, but this one is very sweet. Together with Nora Jones' rendition of Bessie Smith, this is my favorite Band cover by a female performer.

Same thing I thought, it is going to drown out the vocals. I should have known better, this is the group that put a stand up bass, a mandolin, and a guitar to work on 'Boogie Shoes". Keep up that original thinking.

Somehow I missed this neat video. Toni is so awesome playing melody and those fill in harmony guitar licks.....must be apart of her DNA. Then there is Reina with her wonderful personality and that velvety voice. And lastly....I was finally able to hear Grace, (our favorite old-time Reina video helper, TubaGirl), play her neat sounding Tuba. Thank you to these three awesomely talented musicians.....
