Make two, put cardboard in between them and stitch them together.

Thank you for the amazing easy tutorial. I'm a beginner and really enjoyed it. Let's say I want to make my starting chain bigger than 12, for example 20 so I have a bigger rainbow. How does it work? Do I still do 2 DC in the first stitch like when you have 12 on your chain?

Hello Jessica, it measures approximately 85cm x 45cm, of course size will vary on your tension and weight of yarn used. Hope this helps, Anja x

Diana Pervaiz if you follow the instructions for the increases you will always end in a two.... There is no need to count the stitches really! Good luck! Enjoy your crocheting!
