yellow centre: slip knot chain 4 slip stitch into 1st chain 1 single crochet 12 slip stitch into 12th stitch yarn off white petals: slip knot into a stitch chain 6 half double crochet into 2nd chain from hook until bottom slip stitch to anchor repeat until all petals finished !!

How do you decide to start with a magic loop or a chain circle?

Gail Klise a chain 4 will be bulkier in the middle but they are interchangeable..... (in most cases!)
