I find it interesting that ancient Greek constellations differed somewhat from modern ones. Most intriguing to me is that Libra was not a balance or scale, but The Claws (that is the claws of Scorpio).

Interesting, i just started researching sidereal astrology. Great timing! My birthday is Dec. 3rd. I know through the Hathors that Ophiuchus was astrologically considered in ancient Kemit. I have had waking dreams of Isis whispering "i am the serpent messenger, wake up." a second before my alarm clock. As a channel from this spectrum of the stars, i can admit that there is a stong tantric, shamanic, feminine, healing and magical energy and still resonate with sagittarian energy, too.. my venus is in ophiucus/sag but pluto in scorpio really emphasizes seeking truth and expansion in the hidden and undiscovered as well as seeing the beauty in sacred relationship- co-healing and having lasting states of expanded and grounded consciousness through tantric/meditative practices and holding a safe space of Love and Acceptance. Also, i was born in a catholic hospital where they brought my mom a different baby with the same hair, eyes and weight (saved by a birthmark). I do believe there were hidden intentions for the western-simplification of the zodiac.

interestingly the western simplification allowed the practice to survive the dark ages. if medieval hellenic astrologers had to calculate the real stars, it would have been way too complex. the advent of powerful portable computer technology makes what we do today possible, but to get here our ancestors had to carry a torch through a very dark time. i'm glad it was manageable for them and that we today have inherited astrology.

Born December 8th and I've had visitation 2 years ago from the Sirius Star Gods..We are actually a combination of fire and water. For the last 2 years since visited ive had sounds of nature and frequency tones in my head. Thank you for this. I just attended a class about Ophiuchus only for it to be 99% conspiracy theories and nothing that was promised in the original fb post. It's so important to approach this in the most aristotelian empirical way possible. My sun is in this constellation and yeah I'm indistinguishable from scorpios😏 Though probably more (secretly)optimistic thanks to the sag merch and my sun being in the last degrees of scorpio-ophiuchus. Wish there was more on this sign but as you said, it can't be separated from scorpio.

I think Ophiuchus should be added and taken as serious as all of the other signs . As someone who's Birthday is November 30th the personality traits of Ophiuchus good and bad match my personality almost to a T as opposed to Sagittarius that have some matching traits but not as closely as Ophiuchus.

Perhaps, if Scorpio is ruled by Pluto, then, Ophiuchus would be Charon. Each representing one part of the two synchronously orbiting bodies. Also, Charon is nitrogen and methan underneath ice so there is definitely water aspect there. Also, Charon has no atmosphere, thus , perhaps, the ether attachment. #perhaps

my opinion on what i have learned about is that if Ophiuchus shows up in your true Sidereal birthchart, you must have gained enough spiritual knowledge to be an awakened and enlightened entity enough to support the scorpion instead of it running from Orion forever. I see Ophiuchus more as a leader to help understand the non destructive events happening with the Sagittarius dwarf galaxy passing is actually the resolution to global warming if we all become aware of the truth that supports the planets well being.

Here is something for all to consider . What is more important? When you were created? (conception chart) or when you were born? (Birth chart). Or are they equally important? When you discover the answer, you are on your way of knowing the true trinity. If I'm an astrologer studying astronomy and I don't acknowledge when creation happens, i may contain knowledge of the field of study, but without understanding, what do I really know? Even if I sound compelling, can I really know what i am saying and passing it off as true understanding of the knowledge? Clearly not. i don't do chart interpretation via youtube comments, i hope you can understand, thank you. however the Galactic Center is always in Ophiuchus, astronomically speaking. It doesn't move around the chart, but is always found near the beginning of Sag in late Ophiuchus.

@@whothehelliscorinna2155 oh i understand your question now. ok so i still don't do chart interpretation via youtube comments, but i'll say that the ascendant correlates to the qualities that drive the life forward, that evolve a person, and they are qualities that increase as a person ages, though maybe not so present in early youth. and the GC is the power point around which the whole galactic narrative revolves... life and death, spiritual power and truth, inevitable endings and grand beginnings. so how do you relate to that? it would be irresponsible to try to say anything meaningful to you based on a single comment... but you, having lived your life, and being the expert on yourself, are likely much more qualified to answer the question

By adopting a 12 month calendar/zodiac the emphasis is shifted to the Solar cycle (Apollo- Masculine) and away from the 13 month Lunar calendar (28 day median mensus cycle) of the Feminine/Goddesses. How closely does the timing of the rise of Monotheistic (Abrahamic) religion align with the design of the 12 sign zodiac? Why is there no Feminine counterpart in these religions, when we are obviously a dualistic expression of creation? How well does this align with the adoption of Linear vs Cyclical thinking in how our societies have been (poorly) structured and (mis)managed? I don't accept it as coincidence that our modern cultures ubiquitously engage in turning resources into garbage that cannot be decayed and reabsorbed into the natural cycle of regeneration, nor do I consider it insignificant that in ancient Animist and Pagan cultures the Feminine was given equal honor, and those societies were based on inclusion and interdependence in honor of Nature, while in modern society the idea of Supremacy is revered by a disconnected population deluded with an "individualism" only achievable by submitting fully to a hierarchical beaurocracy managed by a hundful of Supremacist proprietors. The substitution of the Caduceus (war and commerce) for the Staff of Asclepius in medicine is quite telling. We need Ophiuchus and the Feminine NOW! (millenia ago, actually)

i generally don't answer questions about people's natal charts in the comments section, for obvious reasons. however i will say that pluto near or with south node has the potential to be powerfully frustrating and confusing, and there can be dark past life karmas which need to be relived and repeated in order to progress on ones personal evolution. difficult stuff. it softens at age 37 and again at age 47 one can begin to gain insight into the difficult patterns of the life. i make an exception for you because that is one of the toughest configurations in astrology. my best to you!
