There are a couple of stand out polishes but I agree that many of them have been done before. Definitely some spring/summer vibes with a couple. I used to love OPI, I still have some faves, but I find myself not even looking at OPI when I’m shopping for polish.

Being from Australia I can’t really wear nail polishes for the season they were released for as they are opposite here so I either have to wait for 6 months or wear whatever colours I like regardless of the season, that being said I will be buying a couple of the colours, green, teal, coral and the brown one, the rest will be a pass from me. Hot Toddy Naughty is propably the only one I'm going to purchase from this collection. I do love Sickeningly sweet too, but I have quite a many similar shades like that one, so I have to think about that some more. New OPI polishes cost nearly 20€ around here, so I'm not sure, if I want to spend so much money on a shade, which is not in any way unique in my collection...🤷‍♀️ With love from Finland! ❤

wow, opi is really struggling with this collection. The title really fits in that it's "ok" but don't we all deserve better than ok? I feel like there may be 3 colors that some people like, but the rest would all be a HARD pass and there's no cohesion. It's like... I was in love with the zoya enamoured collection because it sparked love as soon as I looked at it. This holiday vibe is the depressing January when you all you have left are the xmas bills and the weight gain

I think Let’s Scrooge might be a clean version of Let’s screw. To be honest, I haven’t really liked any of OPIs collections for awhile and actually haven’t bought an OPI in a long time (unless it’s an iconic or hard to find shade I scoop up at TJMAXX ).

Seeing Hot and Coaled made me feel like I was witnessing the rebirth of Pineapples Have Peelings, Too Version 2. Also, Shaking My Sugarplums feels a lot like Revlon's Sultry. I'm just hoping I still might be able to snag that bright yellow shimmer from the fall collection as terrible as those names were.

The Scrooge one is Amaz-on, Amaz-off from 2015ish, but with blue shimmer added, and the peppermint one looks like Here Today, Aragon Tomorrow from 2008/2009, but with silver microglitter. The pink metallicone looks like a ringer for Rosa from Zoya. Weird collection. Sugarplums also looks a lot like Marlowe from Zoya.

I didn’t think the fall Zodiac felt very fall-ish and this one definitely doesn’t feel winter/holiday. That being said, I did pick up a few from the fall collection that I found on sale and there’s a few from this collection I may pick up. Sleigh or Neigh gives me fall vibes and I love anything gray. Some ok colors, but not exciting as a collection. The Sugar Plum one reminds me of Leonardo’s Model Color. Are they similar?

Otherwise for me this is an odd collection & feels like a mix of winter/spring/summer & fall colors all thrown together! Wanted to throw in a thank-you for showing toppers on their own, always appreciate it, I don't possess the spatial intelligence to suss out what they truly look like when layered over a base shade. All the titles appear to be on the frisky & risque side of "naughty or nice", so the 'terribly' nice is winking at that - Scrooge for xmas, but as innuendo for let's screw - it's their attempt at edgy, not the usual saccharine of the holidays ('sickeningly sweet'). You have to be a malcontent to pick up on these things at first blush 😉

I think the teal fits because it's a jewel-tone. That was my favorite. It's funny because multiple people commented that the Horoscope collection had some colors that would have been winters and didn't fit for fall. Now they have a winter collection that has some colors that belong in other seasons. But maybe they're trying to expand what is "in season." I also think 14 polishes is just so much...they know they can crank out similar polishes and salons and people will buy them, regardless? So they don't put a lot of thought into them? Maybe they should focus on quality instead of quantity?

Thank you for this video and I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed in OPI lately. Their colors are not that cohesive for the season, and they're just off and I've only bought a few here and there. I do agree with you that the shimmer/glitter toppers or whatever they are calling them aren't pretty and they are chunky. OPI can do better. I'm sticking with the indie brands more and more because I just won't wear any of these.

Guess what I ended up LOVING in person? Quite a few of the polishes from this collection are already at our local Marshalls, so I looked at them in person, and Sweet Salty Nothings ended up being stunning in person. One coat, two coats or three coats - still stunning. I bought it for myself and for my BFF. The winter collection is always so exciting… However, it feels like the Zodiac Collection should have been the winter collection. It feels like they are out of ideas. And I’m sorry but whats with those hexa glitters… they must try new shapes of glitter.

lol, that thumbnail did not look happy! I had to stop by and agree with you: OPI missed the mark on this one, big time, except for the red ...and the teal/green (which says fall to me also), but in all fairness, I have teal on the brain this time of year. Great swatches! Thanks! ...That's ok, OPI: Holo Taco and ILNP have taken most of my money this year. You can't win them all, I guess.

Shaking my Sugarplums reminds me of Show Us Your Tips (one of my all-time faves from a Spring release) It seems like OPI needs some new insight into what they release and when. There are a couple of shades I will pick up due to good formula. That chunky black polish is an embarrassment though. Why would they even ok putting something like that on the store shelf?

I don't think they look very much alike. I love "Show Us Your Tips" but the shimmer is so much more subtle and the color itself is different.

I agree this collection is a miss. Because, some of the shade more like a spring/fall collection than a holiday/winter. The red color is okay, but the lavender I think should belong in spring collection (just saying). The only thing that OPI need to updated is the brush. I hope OPI need to do better for 2024. Just my opinion, I think OPI needs to go to a 6 bottle or maybe 8 collection! Seems like all of the main stream polishes have had some hit and misses this year! I will agree this is I think the worst one that I've seen them do!
