Whenever a liberal-arts college drop out brings up slavery and white guilt, just point out the fact that in Nigeria and Congo, at this very moment, there's people being used as slaves. And the perpetrators are black leaders. And white people had nothing to do with it. Same applies to China, India, and several Middle Eastern countries

Yimmy was woke even back then, I can't stand that little dweeb. After seeing him "confront" Jesse Ventura, I lost all respect for him. He has never had to account for his words in a physical sense like a guy in a blue collar bar at 2 AM. What a worm.

@Lover boy the problem was that when something was proven with fact woke people didn't accept the fact and lied about the facts. This lead to that any little thing that black people were caught doing they would run away from the truth, that everybody that's telling them how to live in the greatest place on earth with rules that are only changed to benefit everybody. You get what I'm saying how it led up to how it is now.

I’ll tell you one thing, I’ve never felt more hostility between races than when I went to NY. I live in Brazil, which is just as diverse, and I’ve never felt racial tension sharing brews at the bar with people of all colors...with people.
@petrahansen7067

Actually in Brazil, there's growing hostility towards American black men who openly go there for sexual tourism. Even favela fathers of prostitutes have issued warnings about U.S. black men being violent, exploitative(some have even tried pimping the women themselves), and not paying for services rendered. Even being half-U.S black myself, it seems the reputation of American black people in *all parts* of the world, is not good. After a while, you start to realize that racist stereotypes or not, this can't be a coincidence.

John Kenny Early math... writing... medicine... along with many other things
@petrahansen7067
@petrahansen7067 3 жыл бұрын
@@MrEvanNoyes Any culture can stack stones and sticks and recount them by memory. That's not "math". And if it is, it would be the most remedial kind at best. If by "writing", you are implying formally *codified* and consistently recognized written *languages* that Africans developed then no. Not a *single* African culture had an alphabet-based written language or printed books, until well into the 1800's. Hieroglyphics are *pictographical,* not alpha-numeric-based. And hieroglyphs' notorious inaccuracies and inconsistencies, is what makes Egyptian history(which should be one of the most detailed and accurate in the world given they were a 5000+ duration civilization), one of the most reliable chronologies of humankind. But it *isn't.* Many Africans *still* don't have formally-recognized written languages, like the Swahilis. The only people who transcribed Swahili into written code derived from vocalizations, were European whites. And most Swahili's still do not use or recognize any of it. Also, if Africans had "invented' medicine, and had a near 20,000-40,000 year head start on all other races historically, then commensurately they would have developed all of the same medical evolution leading to germ theory, anatomy, early surgical techniques and allopathic/osteopathic/homeopathic medicine, that the Europeans did. Even the Peruvian *Incas* were performing primitive brain surgery, before the Africans had so much as a scalpel or the required metallurgical science, to even develop one. It's nice to give credit where it's due but, to even suggest most things associated with modernity and civilization emanated from Africa, is informed by wild Afrocentric fantasy. And their greatest civilization(Egypt), certainly was *not* founded by sub-Saharan Africans, as so many dishonest Afrocentric "scholars" like to assert. Africans were likely the first humans on Earth. That's quite a distinction and an honor in the annals of human history. Let's leave it at that, and not embellish any further, at the behest of PC-speech code requirements, revisionist history, or outright *non-history.*

Jimmy is right on this one. Culturally "passing down" behavior isn't a matter of "talking about history". It's a whole deterministic system that takes many shapes and conditioning. Evidently I'm not defending the crime, there's massive faults on their side. But the other side must surely have SOME capacity to understand some of the causes for this right? You can't just tell people to get more educated in two generations, stop killing people or have healthier family values overnight. Big associative masses of people don't work this way, just like you can't tell people to stop being depressed. It's very similar to fluid dynamics and inertia. You have to integrate them in some way or another while also incentivizing growth from within their community, with leaders worthy of following. That's a must. If that fails, I guess pray we do better with the next generations. I'm European btw. We got lotsa problems with immigrants and minorities lol. This is my two cents. You're free to disagree with it.

“You can’t just tell people to get more educated in two generations, stop killing people or have healthier family values overnight”. Rlly? Most ppl can educate themselves within one generation lol, if they don’t want to educate themselves and would rather act juvenile then fuck them. Every race has endured hardships throughout history. This is the only instance in which a populace uses their past to justify their current crimes. And even that past history isn’t as brutal as they make it seem. White indentured servants and factory workers were often worked much more harshly and mistreated more so than many black people under Jim Crow. Seeing how the media blatantly lies about reality I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the photo ops from history paint a picture that’s far from realty. I’ve seen black people lie countless times to play the race card down from the local hood rat “witnesses” to celebs like Lebron & Jussie Smollet. Surely if racism is such an enduring blight on the black community, they wouldn’t have to lie to make up racist scenarios. Also, no one said it has to happen “overnight” but they actively push in the opposite direction for the destruction of this country. So politely fuck off

Depending on where the first story took place, it's very possible that everything was swept under the rug because the police made a stop with the people they arrested for assaulting the family. Like that kid who was a cop killer. No extra charges were filed, even though they could have put him away for life, because they didn't want anyone looking to closely as the difference in condition of the inmate between arrest and court.

What white people think is that after the civil war black people started to prosper into the 50's and then after the civil rights movement black society has fallen and continued to fall. Now a black person will take part in destroying an entire grocery supermarket (the only one in their neighborhood) for a bag of Takis and a bottle of mane and tail. And then bitch about not having anywhere to buy food after it shuts down.

@Fly Smith Because what effects my relatives and ppl effects me.mentally and economically.Plus due to things like the homestead act ,white families got land and money that was supposed to be our 40 acres and a mule.So as a whole white families got a free headstart we didn't get.And many modern companies got rich off slaveowning and free labor.You can't tell us how we feel.slavery psychologically effects blacks everyday until this day.

@Fly Smith Well if shit wasn't so unfair and racist we wouldn't need help.I Don't get any of things you named though.If companies owned by whites won't hire blacks affirmative action is needed because racist white ppl are not gonna hire us over another white person.Nah we should have gotten cashed out after slavery but y'all said fuck them .Well this ain't my great great grandad's time and I'm still here and we still mad.Due to population way more white ppl got ebt so talk to them too.No it's not enough because no money can pay back the lives and culture lost from slavery.

What exactly would you think is fair? If we could grant you a one time, ask and you shall receive, which would be given to every person that could be traced back to slavery in America, but after that it can’t be used against people (teach it in schools, have museums, it’s important history and we need to know how terrible it was). What would be your request?
