I disagree because I believe the only person who knew who he was is him. I don't mean this in a negative or cynical way it's just the harder I try to get people to know me or understand who I am it tends to go the opposite of what I am trying to get them to see. We can only be ourselves if at home or drunk or both for most people.

Too much charisma, intelligence and integrity would've kept him from Eddie Murphy huge cause of his refusal to play the game. I’m 30 and missed OnA until about a month after Patrice died. Since then I’ve listened to everything he’s ever done that I could find. I think he would have been huge if he made into the golden age of podcasting. Imagine Patrice roasting Theo or chatting with Joey Diaz.

Has Opie ever said anything funny? I've only listened to a few dozen hours of O&A but I haven't heard him say anything funny. On Loveline Dr.Drew used to say funny things occasionally. Part of his humor was that he was so uptight, so him saying raunchy things would have greater impact. Or someone would trick him into reading a lewd fax and they'd tape it. With Opie he's just some unfunny douche. He's not even a good straight man.

Usually I don't hate Opie as much as everyone else, but with the talent he has in the studio he should be hung for breaking up the fun with clips. To play xbox online: Just mute the other players, don't use the headphones, you don't need to talk to other players to play . . . . you really don't need to communicate with anybody online, it doesn't really help you in the game very much.

yeah he definitely was pretty pretentious here. I kept thinking when he was being condescending about playing video games how at least some of us don't just invite girls into our hotel room to masturbate in front of them.
