The voice is a real deal. I'm gay and I felt, as got out of my teens, it was getting stronger and stronger, and I wasn't out until I was in my 30s and was still trying to play straight. Man, I fought that inflection. I was a real shock when I heard myself say something fem sounding. I conquered it for the most part and most people wouldn't think I'm gay. Plus, at 66 I don't give a shit about any of it, anyway.
