I can't take anyone seriously who advocates for dismantling our current system in the West. The only way a person could possibly think that is a good idea is if they are completely ignorant of how poorly non-western societies function and what the average human life has looked like historically. Obviously, we have problems in the US and there is a ton of room for improvement, but ANY system that supports millions of people is going to be flawed to some extent. It's actually miraculous how well our society works. For example, the biggest health threat to poor people in the west is obesity. That really tells you all you need to know.
