Days other than 9/11 and 9/12 are such great finds to go back and listen to. Really helps remind you 9/11 wasn’t some moment in a vacuum.

Dude I live in New Zealand, the whole world was shook and devastated. Now people like look back and pretend it was "America's tragedy" and not care. Bullshit. Everyone was scared that day I tell you.

@@chattingesque372 Definitely. Especially considering no one knew what was coming in regards the extent of this network of terrorists and if there was more attacks coming, and also what the nature of the retaliation and war that was obviously coming. Even without your memory, anyone with a brain could logically know that if America was the most influential country in the world that most countries would have a visceral reaction to the attack. If it could happen here, it could anywhere. Though really once the visceral reaction fades and you think, we were attacked more because of the power and influence America has what we’ve done, but it’s easy to understand the fear you had. Even just on an empathy level, knowing thousands were dead is enough to be horrified. ...and now I’m doing going on this tangent of fairly obvious thoughts, lol.

You know Ant was a different guy when someone hates on Sharpton and he just sarcastically says how that sounds like the normal world we knew rather than immediately launching into a racial diatribe about him with the caller.

That Fran lady was so lucky she called in the week she did. She sounded like the personification of heroin. She would have been a victim of the silent game for sure.
