If they drove her that crazy, why did she get them as bridesmaids? They even attacked each other…. I’m just glad her sister was told to shut up and that she supported her (the bride’s) decision in the end. Cuz the bride’s pick really was better. I loved that dress.

53 yrs ago, I picked out my own dress all by myself. Picked out the bridesmaid dresses, colours too. They wore what I asked them to. No issues. I guess we were more capable of making decisions back in 1971. Still married to the same guy.

The bride should go alone pick out the dress, then send the bridesmaids in to be fitted.. That is the way it used to be.. You don't like it don't be in the wedding, period.. I wore more than one I did not like but not my wedding and I loved my brides and considered it an honor....

for my wedding, i'm doing red for the maid of honor and gold for the bridesmaids, because my colors for my wedding is red and gold "Christmas in July". I will only have three girls with me, that's it. i could never have that many people in my bridal party with me. that's overwhelming and crazy

My cousin's wedding was beautiful and she had a great idea for the bridesmaids' dresses! They had all the exact same color and tone, but each bridesmaid could choose a different cut and shape of the dress that she liked better (they all had to be long though)! It was fitting, because they all had the same color, and it suited each one's body well!

This is why I love the trend (but I hate to call it that) where the bridesmaids wear different dresses but with a common theme and/or styling element (all long, all floral, all flowy, samw color family, Etc)
