Suka banget Klo hostnya kak indah. Karna pembawaannya yg santai, ga judgemental, open minded & menghargai lawan bicara.

Ok not trying to ruin the fun but the funny thing is, there are queer characters in wakanda. So it's kind of 'disrespectful' to describe homophobic country as wakanda lol Not that i'm blaming you but MCU is just too subtle with its queer characters so I get it 🤣

you have no idea how this podcast has empowered me so much! living in a conservative and partriarchal community has led me to think that i am the crazy one in the neighborhood! being constantly judged of my value, lifestyle and my way of behaving is really depressing! i thought i have gone crazy after getting back from my student exchange experience. i even have already searched for psychiatrist to consult with! (tho i still will do to just do double check up to my depression) i know that ignorance is a bliss, i know i can't blame em for being ignorant, but their ignorance is hell for me. i can't wait to find my way to get out of this conservatist community. hope to find my way to europe again, or any english speaking country. i am done with concealing my belief and my value. i am done pretending to just fit in. thanks to you both girls, i feel so much relieved to know that there is another way to live, there is enough space to be myself. i even am crying happy tears finding you as safe place to write my comments. i hope to find same minded people here as well in this channel. i also hope that those ambitious critical women can find this podcast very soon!

As a person who grew up in public school environment and has never gone to outside of indonesia, salah satu yg mengubah aku jadi left-leaning person sebenarnya cuma karena hobi konsumsi entertainment aja (weirdly enough). Inget banget tahun 2016 itu lagi parah2nya anti-SJW era di internet. But I was already a feminist (karena Gamergate and a Lady Gaga fan lol) so it's not like I was already far gone, except I was the pick-me feminist and proudly claiming myself to be the "good" one but unfortunately I still had homophobic views due to religious bias at the time (I was raised muslim). Few years ahead, I forgot how I even ended up here. But I remember watching Contrapoints and Princess Weekes and both of these amazing women actually "convert" me to be more left-leaning person. It didn't just happen in one-click. It took me a few years to get out of the rabbit hole and finally labelling myself to be a leftist. I'm not proud about my past, but at least I do have perspective why some people are conservatives or even moderate. Btw I didn't know Indah had a podcast but I'm so glad to have you and Gita to talk about this issue. I feel so seen here. I hope you and Gita will soon have more contents together! ♥

Religion is a choice, the responsibility that come with it is “a must “. Opini sy kenapa sering terjadi perselisihan karena kedua pihak sama2 merasa mereka “open” dan yg lain “conservative” Sama halnya yg gita yakini akan “my interpretation”. Orang-orang yg menjadikan agama sbg numb one rule of life, basically it’s their guidance of life gak selalu mereka berarti conservative. Dan sbg muslim the rule, interpretation, already there you can’t put more or make less. It is what it is, and believing this as your value doesn’t make you conservative/close minded. It’s just you submissive to your Creator

Agree, its not because we want everything to be black and white, but because in Islam everything is so clear which one is wrong and right. Islam doesn’t determined by your interpretation, and doesn’t affect by your opinion and perspective. You cant accept one part of it and leave another part, its come one full package. True you can be struggling as human being to practice but to say you will not practice ever just because it doesn’t align with your values is something else. Like you said, its a choice. But within that choice there is term, rule and condition that you have to follow

Dream banget kalau punya circle pertemanan yang tipe-tipe orangnya suka diskusi dan topik-topiknya kayak gini. Tapi emang gue belum punya privilege itu, setidaknya untuk sekarang 😊 Btw, thank you Indah for the content. Sering-sering dong collab with Gitasav. Gue cocok banget ama topik dan gaya diskusi kalian 💖💖 Mungkin gue compatible sama tipe kalian menurut MBTI hahahh ✌

Setuju bangettt sama semua yg dibahas disini 🥺 memang rasanya org2 yg mudah ketrigger sama isu2 'leftist' spt ini itu yg blm dapet kesempatan utk 'main jauh'. Jdnya ya sehari2 terekspos sama yg itu2 aja, ketemu org2 yg homogen, teman2nya mayoritas satu nilai sama dia.

Love the flow of conversation. Personally si jujur aq g pernah ada chance buat hidup lama di luar, so i can not have any other chance to move out, tapi let say ada some part of my experience yg membuat aq bisa keep open minded walaupun di indonesia, setidaknya sih frustasi terhadap netizen indo memang sgt terasakan bgt. Well thats indonesia for sure dengan massa yg sgt banyak, keanekaragaman tp ngotot menyatukan sesuatu.. Wkwk.. Anyway its a good perspective and stimulation to hear both of women here. Nice job.

People are so upset about gita's childfree opinion bcs they are tryng to imagine themself as Gita and don't have child. Of course its hard to swallow Me myself as a man who want to have child, i cant imagine myself live without a child i mean it would be so lonely. But that's Gitas opinion. Not me

No one commenting abt part 'toddler dipakaikan hijab', me as mother of a baby girl 100% agree with them. Apalagi sekecil itu dipakaikan pasmina whyyy?
@terangbulanannann9282
@terangbulanannann9282 Жыл бұрын
I think it's because they want to make the baby comfortable since they are still a baby, a kid with the hijab thing, the clothes. So, who knows what people think? Who knows what their want to build to their kid? Whooo?

Being study abroad and has to return to motherland is probably specific to Indonesia since most advanced countries (Japan, European countries, China, India) even Thailand and Vietnam have a large community presence in America. Perhaps one of the key to be an advanced country is having significant footprints in United States 🤔 Religion practice and perspection are based on some interpretation in which very few critically challenge. One of basis in Islam for example is to read or to be precise critically challenge anything and everything, yet only some do such 🙄

now i agree with what Islamic sayings that we personally have to have an equal relationship with God and humans, meaning that its all personal of what you're doing in the name of God (praying, reciting Quran, practicing the believes and all) and doesn't mean that you have to force others to do that too, its all personal between you and God. while your relationship with human in general are very exposed to the point people can judge you by the way you treat them, treat others, and how is your relationship with them so you should be the best version of you like what you do when you face God. you treat others how you want to be treated. moral compass isn't from what you've been told by your religion but just how people are supposed to treat others. i believe that religion just shows and guides you how to be a greater person by telling you to do good things and give yourself peace, but, if you really are a good person you would've known and done it yourself. at this point idc if my english is shit af i just wanna give my opinion, you can agree or disagree. x
