The king should have excused himself from family conspiracies, especially, since he wasnt the one who chose the imam in the first place. The questions begging for answer are 1. When the selection process of imam was done, why was the imam invited from Ogun State to be part if he isnt a member of the family? 2. Why didnt the family oppose him or call for his disqualification during the selection process? 3. If he is not from Ayilara family, why do they still, till now, allow him to stay in the family house. The reality is that the struggle for power can bring out many false narratives and people can twist facts in order to achieve their aim. Jesus Christ was lied upon, so was Prophet Muhammad and others. People will always construct lies and make it seems like the truth in order to get their adversary out of the way. Oba Gandi would have asked the family to go and settle their internal problem. But when he waded in into their power struggle, he has hit muddy water with a starve and surely, the water will surely stain his while garment.
