@@NeilS-h7d Hans has repeatedly said his formal classical training was like 2 weeks of Piano he hated, and his inspiration comes from playing in a rock band. Inception and more recently Dune feature guitar upfront in their main themes, no other composer has relied on an electric guitar like this. I'm not saying it all has to be guitar as he's killed it in the majority of his major soundtracks without it, yet "but it's Hans Zimmer" should pay some homage to his life's source of inspiration.
