So fantastically articulated. Such a detailed review about what caused the thought to invent atomic bomb, how Hitler was the reason behind, how Oppenheimer was humiliated by the same US who once called him the father of the atomic bomb, how Oppenheimer was traumatized by his own invention, how there were Russian spies among Oppenheimer team which lead Russia to create a much powerful atomic bomb, which eventually lead US to create Hydrogen bomb, was there a possibility for US to bomb more places apart from Hiroshima & Nagasaki.. So much of history about international politics during World War 2 is detailed. Very interesting.

I saw the movie, even my thoughts are same.. the biographical drama about Oppenheimer his legacy the interrogation scenes were really heartbreaking as each witnesses reveal their true nature... Political motivation is behind all destructive thoughts of mankind..at the same the performance as u stated cillian,blunt were very good and felt very bad that a pioneer scientist patriot was not given a recognition he deserved because of his moral thoughts expressed to the power house, really felt bad while the movie ended....😔

And the US didn't want to sacrifice their allied forces and so they decided to drop the bomb. And the worst part is, even after the Hiroshima dropping, Japan declined to surrender. And with Nagasaki dropping, WWII came to an end. Japan's army is not the purest army and to know more about them, read the Nanjing Massacre. It's on the same page as what IPKF did in Sri Lanka. It was Japan who made the US enter WWII by attacking Pearl Harbour. Until such time, the US was not at all involved in the war.

I watched in IMAX near Chicago outskirts. Good Movie.. Nolan indirectly slapped US about their politics and how they treat the scientist as shit. Just power and greed. Music Composer Ludwig.. did an excellent Job.. from Interstellar Hoyte tagged for Cinematography and he did justice…

Oppenheimer hardly counts as a biopic. Instead, it is a fathomless character study that explores the nature of power, including how it arises, how it remains in balance, and how it causes people to face intricate challenges that defy easy solutions. The only nolan moment is the sublime Trinity test which was exquisite in IMAX. The most non-Nolan film. Nevertheless, its monumental!
