I've had this phone for 2 years now. Still holds charge like it's new (2 days with use) and no dramas. The camera quality is a little bit average, but the rest of the phone has been brilliant

I still have my A52 2 and a half years on. Still holding up very well. Battery still lasts over a day with moderate use. Screen is very nice for the price. Still running as quick as the day I bought it. last year since working in a workshop this phone has suffered massive abuse, dust, drops, paint and it hasn't effected it's operation in any way. Days ago dropped the phone and cracked the screen but the glass is so strong it didn't shatter, just a very thin crack that isn't even noticable. Your review is spot on. Highly rate it.

I've had this phone for just over 4 years now and still works. I've had to add a memory card to supplement storage and the battery may not be as good as what it was, but still get over a day with average usage. I've always kept the case on and had a screen cover too, so it's barely marked... The only real downside to the phone has been the camera, which is quite average and bad in low light

like your review but can you tell me what s the quality of the sound on taking a call is like ? us old people have hearing problems and dont want to put calls on speaker and make everyone listen

Hi Justin, its fine for calls, Sometimes we dont realise we arent holding the speaker over our ear as well. :)

Did you upgrade your A52 with ColorOS 11? If yes, and if you take video with front camera, does the brightness go maximum? When making video calls with A52, the screen and video are too bright which is annoying. After video calls, the screen gets back to adjusted brightness. The phone got upgraded to ColorOS 11 right after purchase so that I am not sure how it was with ColorOS 7. Cheers,

@@suryan1956 Hi, actually my friend is using the phone, not me. He moved to OPPO A52 because his iPhone 7 got broken. He does not play games and he is quite happy about OPPO A52 so far. He does not feel any lag while using Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp on OPPO A52 with Color OS 11...

What kind of (geekbench?) benchmark scores does the Oppo A52 achieve? What is the maximum sd card capacity that it can be expanded to? 2TB?

Hi Ben, Thanks for dropping by the channel. I didnt use geegbench. Tend not to as its not always a relfection of real world use. Also the storage isnt answerable by me because the phone has been returned. Oppo does not mention the capacity either.

I like the phone but the proximity sensor is driving me nuts, any time i make a call screen flickers on and off from the slightest of incidental motions and my face ends up pushing all the buttons!

If you go into settings - gestures and motions - then toggle some of those settings on and off to see if it helps. (Just throwing ideas around)

@Omnibud hey thankyou sm !! I actually went ahead and bought an oppo a52 , it’s perfect as of now cause I never updated mine to android 11 cause sooo many people have said it heats etc etc . I wasn’t gonna kill my new phone sooo I’ll never update it . Also I’ve heard that only the beta version of Android 11 update is present as of now , and it’s a trail version so I’ve never updated my phone, Thankyou so much for giving a brief info abt the update :))

dont buy the a52. its slow. my ax7 was better. my ax7 has 2gb ram available when no apps running . my a52 only has 1.4. its running a heavier OS which takes up more ram and am guessing is making it slow. i search a word in the settings like "notifications" and it takes like 4 seconds to display a result. also when surfing web it freezes sometimes and you have to press the bottom back button to exit and start again. oh and its noticeably heavier than my ax7. im guessing due to that big stupid camera that still sux

The freezing issue is chrome or chrome based browsers on Android 10, on Android 9 or 11 it's perfect
