I've always loved OPPO when it comes to camera performance, here in where I live, if you can't afford an iPhone but you still want an iPhone like camera quality, people will opt for OPPO phones.

It looks ok , it may be better in some ways than previous find x models , but I actually liked the look of some of the earlier models better , just aesthetically, not deal breakers though. I wouldn’t get passed the curved edge screen…. I don’t like them. Still out hard to go past the big iPhone or big galaxy though imo even if they make it a global model.

Nice video, shame the phone isn't available globally. If want a great coffee experience, may i recommend Cafe Luna in the West Village. Its a fantastic place, the owners and staff are all lovely and friendly people. The food and drinks they offer are amazing, and all at reasonable prices!

Another banger. I imported this phone to the UK and if you're willing to spend some time setting it up correctly out of the box you can get it very very close to a global rom (minus "hey Google" and android auto). I absolutely love this thing, by far the best phone ive ever used, ive been a Samsung knight for years and came from a s22 ultra exynos and this was a massive upgrade. Most recent update added Dolby vision 4k60fps all rear cameras and improved zoom and stability.

​@@BristolMatt sure thing man, so as far as I know the only real "game changer" differences are no android auto, no "hey Google" and no location history tracking in Google maps? (Works fine but won't show a history of where you've been). I don't care at all about those things haha so it's been perfect for me. There is a really small amount of Chinese apps you can't uninstall (like oppo play store, breeno etc) but I don't interact with them and they don't bother me. It's an incredible phone, I used wonda mobile to import it cost me 800 delivered with play store already installed. Had to install G board by myself, I recommend you ask them to install that for you first if possible as well. Makes set-up alot easier

@@nickmackenzie3060 yeah mate I've not had any missed notifications, they apparently don't show up on the always on display but I don't use that I have a Garmin for time but the phone still pings everything like WhatsApp, messenger and calls and texts ECT. I'm loving the phone hey, also getting like 9+ hours of screen on time which is over double what I was getting with my old s22 ultra

Okay, I got the X7 Ultra 3 days ago and so far I haven't experienced any bugs like app freezes! Granted I haven't been using it that much but it's been super smooth and fluid so far. As for the notification swipe issue that you described that's only an issue if you swipe left! If you swipe to the right the notification dismisses with just the one swipe 🤷 Honestly I've found it to be an all around solid device. I do wish it was a global ROM device because some of the UI elements remain in Chinese and there's no way to change that. For example everything in the theme store is Chinese which is unfortunate because I wouldn't mind being able to download themes or fonts like I do on my Samsung devices. And unlike the OnePlus theme store OPPO seems to have a pretty vast selection of themes. But unfortunately it's all in Chinese so I don't even know which ones are free and which ones are paid. Plus all the prices are in Chinese so I don't know what the actual cost is. And I don't know if my bank will freak out if I try buying one 😅 But like I said, other than that it's been a solid device with great cameras and a smooth fluid UI and very crisp haptics. All in all very happy with it!

@@BristolMatt so I have an S24U and a OnePlus Open and more and more I'm shifting twords the OPPO! I'm not going to lie, there are downsides but I don't think that the downsides out weight the positives, or at least they don't for me! No Android Auto doesn't mean anything to me because I drive a 20 year old car. And smart watch connectivity isn't something I care about but is a downside for sure. As far as notifications I can't say I've really noticed if they're coming late or not, it's just not something I pay a lot of attention to 🤷 For me the only real downside is that some of the UI remains in Chinese. It's really only noticable in the theme store. And then there's the OPPO app store which you can't uninstall and they do try sending notifications which obviously is a bit annoying since they don't have anything useful outside of China. But at least for me none of that out weight the positives. For one thing the phone is physically stunning and feels shockingly good in the hand. I had no idea synthetic leather felt so good. The cameras are exceptional and the software is smooth and light but with enough quality of life additions that you shouldn't feel like your missing anything. All that being said I would probably recommend buying the OnePlus 12 instead. If you like ColorOS then you should get in well with OxygenOS. And the OnePlus 12 is cheaper and without any of the compromises that come with importing a Chinese ROM device. As far as I can tell, and I don't have the 12 to say for sure, but I do have the Open, and the Find X7 Ultra has better haptics and of course better cameras. So if you really want the best cameras it might be worth it to you. But if that's not a major concern the OnePlus 12 is probably a better choice.

I ow this and it's fantastic, though in some way find x6 pro cameras are is slightly better than x7 ultra in some area but the aqua touch is what makes me happy owning this. Though I know oneplus has aquatouch too but cameras hardware is a downgrade.

When i see these kind of flaghship, now i start thinking that in terms of camera quality Samsung is the Apple of android smartphone... We buy it just for the brand popularity and not for the real quality of the shots.
