Don't buy any Chinese version rom phones. You won't get any western apps notifications when the AOD (always on display) is active. It only shows the time and date. You can only see the notifications when you unlock the phone. I've got the Vivo X90 Pro Plus. I can't receive any WhatsApp, messenger, Instagram or any other app notifications. You can only receive texts or phone calls notifications when the AOD is active. I also have the Oppo Find X2 Pro which receives all notifications, because it's global. I will be buying this one when it comes out on the 21st of November 👍.

@victornafwa2471 Are you serious? 😂. I know how to work phones. Don't you think I've checked the settings, so don't call me a liar. I'm using the phone now. It won't show WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram, Facebook etc on the AOD (Always On Display). I know what I'm doing. Before you call me a liar, do your own research. I've got the Vivo X90 Pro Plus from China. The AOD doesn't show anything but the time and date. So once again, don't call me a liar.

thank you for your input, good advice! I wanted to ask you a question since you seem to have had a lot of experience with both a Vivo and an oppo. After years of using your X90 Pro plus and your Find X2 pro, which one would you say held up better? I'm undecided between the new Vivo x200 pro and the oppo find x8 pro because they both have similar specs and both are so good. but I'd like to know from someone who's had both brands for a long time, which one do you think has less bugs and is more smooth day to day? which one feels like it degraded less? which software do you feel is smoother after using it for years? thank you so in advance for any input you provide, have a good day!

@@yousifb5078 Hi yousif, thanks for your question. I've still got my Vivo x90 pro plus and using it daily. I also have my Oppo Find X2 Pro as a back up. The Vivo X90 Pro Plus has slightly better cameras than the my Oppo Find X2 Pro. The haptic vibration is better on my Oppo than my Vivo. Software is slightly better on my Vivo as it's newer. You have to remember, my Oppo is a global software, unlike my Vivo is a Chinese version. As for your choice of phones, both Vivo x200 and the Oppo Find X8 Pro are very close in camera quality. As Vivo, Oppo, Xiaomi, Oneplus etc are from the same company BBK electronics in China. You can't go wrong with either Vivo X200 Pro or Oppo X8 Pro. I do prefer the Oppo X8 Pro, slightly over the Vivo X200 Pro, because of the physical camera button. Vivo X200 Pro has great battery life, as does the Oppo. It's all about how you use the phones. I've got 4 LG Phones, 2 Huawei phones and Vivo and Oppo too. I need more information on both Vivo and Oppo before I decide. But I'm seriously looking at getting the Oppo X8 Pro. For example, I disable nearly all apps from running in the background so I get more battery life. Just enable the apps you want to use. Both are great phones. It's down to personal preferences. I'm going to sell my Vivo x90 pro plus and buy either Vivo X200 pro or Oppo X8 pro. Just keep researching before buying. Watch a lot of KZbin video comparisons on both phones, which is what I'm doing. I'm going to buy the global version, as I know it will work perfectly. Hope that helps you.
