Pretty happy with the performance of the Oneplus 13 here. Apart from long range zoom more than 3x where it can't compete it wasn't far off and it's a good bit cheaper than the other two. Apart from the cameras it is better than the other two as well especially for the screen. Vivo is the best overall for the cameras though especially in lowlight. The only problem is the glare which is a widely recognized issue in China. Apparently it's the design of the lens module that's causing it. They've tried to fix it with an AI update but it probably can't be completely fixed. My conclusion would be if you really want the best cameras from these three go with the Vivo. If you want a cheaper option and probably the best all round phone phone of the three then the Oneplus 13 is a good choice. I probably wouldn't go for the find x8 pro as it's not really worth the extra price over the Oneplus 13 in my opinion especially considering the worse screen, weaker motor and only an optical fingerprint sensor

I have the X100U and it's easily wipes the floor with any phone out there in terms of camera, minus the X200P. Don't use the default mode, the High Res mod and the rest for portrait, humanistic modes, are the best for all of your needs.

At this point its really tough to compare... its just nit picking and after sales service. Honor Magic 7 Pro- seems to be a very good all rounder Vivo x200 pro- camera ( its still blisteringly fast and capable at all fronts) Oppo x8 pro- good all rounder One Plus 13- international brand under OPPO... but seems to be a better phone overall compared to OPPO Xiaomi 15 Pro- was ahead of its pack with the 14 ultra for 2024 but the lines are blurring. TBH, u wont go wrong with any of these brands. Depending on the availability in your region. The Chinese invasion is making really capable phones. Anyone saying otherwise are just sheeps or just bigots. The only downside is probably updates+ availability. On a side note: Samsung, apple and google are looking like fools right now. I understand they have more optimized OS but the Chinese are catching up. Look I aint an advocate for Chinese phones but even an 1diot can tell the differences now when u really compare those phones. Edit: Currently... Honor and Oneplus seems to be edging out compared to the rest. But if pure portrait that u are looking for, VIVO should be king.

The Vivo X200 Pro has a 200mpix telephoto, which is why the footage is better at 10x zoom-it is a digital crop, I suppose. I can't imagine how the X200 Ultra will perform. Waiting for the global versions + eSim support :)

Thank you for the review. Overall I find the Vivo the best by quite a margin except for dynamic range as it seems to consistently blow up highlights much more than the other two, no matter the lighting conditions. I feel generally speaking this will only improve with better and bigger sensors.. continually overly compensate sensor limitations with software and heavier processing doesn't cut it for me as I find many recent flagships all sinning from very artificially looking images. Overall these 3 phones are all good but honestly not much better than they already were 2 or 3 years ago. The leapfrog advancements or IQ breakthrough to change the game in mobile imaging from where we are now is yet to come. We have been for a long time on a evolutionary state of things and I am looking for a big bang of a phone with a camera system that kills them all and finally replaces a dedicated camera's IQ.

Another banger video my friend! Did the video before i could even request it, exceptional work! Vivo is overall the best, easily. The Oppo is really good considering the "inferior" hardware but for the price it better have been good lol, the oneplus is really good for the price, standing toe to toe with these is not a bad feat apart from video noise cancelling and super zoom shots it's good enough. I thought the main cam downgrade of the Vivo was gonna be annoying but damn they proved me wrong, really nice photos now. If Vivo went global all other phones would look mediocre.

Vivo + Zeiss is the perfect combination! Zeiss engineers know how to do their job very well! With Nokia they did a great job as well. The only thing Vivo is not great in this comparison, are the microphones. Not good audio, unfortunately. But if I had to buy a phone right now, I would probably buy a Vivo. Who knows...maybe next year I'll retire my old Huawei P30 Pro (which still rocks, but no longer updated, sadly) 😁

Those flare in X200 Pro is normal like in most of expensive DSLR, you can just stop the light through with one hand and it's gone. It's just one little problem for me while X8 Pro has problems with fps drop and can't change from back to front camera when taking videos

Looking for early next year's Ultra phones like S25 Ultra, Xiaomi 15 Ultra, Vivo X200 Ultra, and Oppo X8 Ultra. The Vivo is suspected to get three big sensors, while the main camera will be 35mm. Oppo will get 7x zoom using the 1/2 inch IMX882=LYT600, 75mm 3x zoom using the LYT701, and 1 inch main sensor. Xiaomi will be using a 4(?)x 200 MP sensor and an additional shorter zoom. But I fear that only Samsung and Xiaomi will bring global version 🥲

Unfortunately Oppo chose pretty cheap and small sensors this year. LYT-800 series for the main (1/4") instead of the LYT-900 series 1" sensor. For the ultrawide, a cheap and small JN1 sensor (1/2.74"). And then for the 3x zoom LYT-600 1/2" and 6x zoom with the IMX858, but with a very small aperture. In the Netherlands, yesterday and today the phone was on sale for €480. I still bought it. But I have to be honest, this phone has no right to be €1149 in Europe. The photos are identical to the OnePlus 12, the ultrawide is even better on the OP12. Video has gotten a slight upgrade from the OP12, as the X8 Pro supports 4k60fps DV on all lenses compared to just the main sensor. For the rest on the X8 Pro compared to the OP12 I own: mid haptic motor, screen is the same but the camera button is great tho and the Dimensity 9400 seems great, runs not so warm and modem seems great aswell. If the Vivo X200 Pro comes to Europe, it would be an instant buy for me. Otherwise, for the full price, I'd wait for the Honor Magic7 Pro. I liked the photos way more on my Magic6 Pro, especially the enourmous sensor size on the zoom, extremely good for portraits. Of course, the Vivo has an even better version of this telephoto.
