Going with the Dimensity chip is actually a smart move, given that rumours say the SD8 Gen 4 will be $260/unit, so if the regular or Pro get it, they will probably be waaaay more expensive than if they used the Dimensity 9300+ or 9400.

Just some correction: Both Find X7 and Find X6 Series never made it outside china. The last phone came globaly was find x5 pro. Also, Moto Razer 50 Ultra, I think it's already available through Motorola uk website.

hey, so globally does not mean just UK or USA... find x6 series was available outside china and i know the RAZR 50U is out globally, i was saying that for only £700 you can get the global ROM flash on my site, saving you £300

In my country,the Find X8 series will not only be here but also be build here,we don't have a lot of brands here and this could really put a fight here.

Coming from my own sales and marketing perspective,Oppo might release the Find x8 pro and the find x8 ultra globally whereas the standard find X8 will be a china only model. My guessing is the X8 pro will be a 6.5 inch for the X8 pro and between 6.82~6.9 inch for the ultra.

If you did your research correctly then you'd know that The Find X5 Pro was the Last Oppo Flagship phone to be released in the UK because of the Massive Legal battle with Nokia which Nokia won, and Now Oppo have paid their bill they now have the Opportunity for Global release for its X8 Series. The X6 & X7 were Both China releases ONLY. It has been said that Oppo will eventually make the X8 series a Global release.

i’m conflicted on what foldable to buy. I want good user software. I love the form factor of the Honor Magic v2 but i hate the rom its running. I wish there was a way to get the honor magic v2 to get the same software as say something like the one plus. Also the new z fold is coming out… i don’t know how that one is going to stack up in comparison. Any advice?

Oppo consistently fly under the radar with some solid units. Just with the release area, they seem to consistently release throughout south east Asia - not sure if that changes anything with the rom used but happy to go and check it out if it helps mate.

People are definitely strange! I was watching a video on the Audi R8 and one of the comments was "I DON'T DRIVE r8S I DON'T LIKE THOSE" I mean why would anyone go to a video of something they don't like to waste time telling people how much they don't like it 🤦‍♂️ As you probably know i currently have the OPPO Find X7 Ultra and I have no plans to upgrade, certainly not to the Find X8 pro. Maybe the X8U if it's a global release. If it's not a global release then OPPO is going to have to have made some significant improvements in some already amazing camera tech to entice me to upgrade what I think is the best looking phone EVER, with camera tech that's already amongst the top 3 of 2024. The thing is right now my only complaint with the X7U Chinese rom is the OPPO theme store is all in Chinese 😅

A few points, the mediatek in standard and pro matches Vivo. The negative means only a 1.5k screen. The other x factor is they have sorted out the nokia issue. This could mean a real global release. This likely means no band 20 on China variant. They are in the UK and most of Europe a waste of time. Then what will the price be for global versions. I expect a lot more.

1.5K screen is not bad,it won't waste your battery like a QHD screen and it will be better than a FHD+

@@lordlopes2424 it was the stunning screen that made me fall in love with the Oppo. That screen downgrade has changed everything. It won't sell as much in my opinion. It had the best screen in the game.

It's advisable against unlocking the bootloader to install the global rom on a Chinese version of Motorola or any brand because that will compromise the security of your device and potentially more serious problems. Pay a little bit extra and get the global version with peace of mind.
