And his competition was arguabley better than some of Andersons for a good chunk of his career. I put him as the goat just cause Jones while having fought better people also was on juice.

Tbf, no one knew how high DJ's ceiling was until he got traded to ONE. His trade to ONE was the best thing that happened for his career. He is a superstar over there, won a grand prix, won a super fight against Rodtang, took the undisputed bantamweight title and defended. And he hit so many style points on the way. At this point, who care if the UFC overlooked him. We(the fans) are the ones who ended up winning

GSP was the best traditional martial artist. Jones was just a freak of nature an absolute beast at lhw. Silva had matrix like stand up and made top level guys look like amateurs on the feet. But DJ was the best at mixing the martial arts together his transitions that led to the ray Borg and moraes finishes are amazing to watch and if he was still in the UFC I believe he would still be champ

Man I always saw might mouse as the best if not one of the best when I first got into watching ufc. Yeh jones is there and Anderson, but in my opinion the highest skill level fighters have always been at the lower weight classes at least including just top contendors cuz ofc there the likes of Anderson Silva jones and gsp. Before ufc got wec, I watched a lot of wec fights and the the fights were sometimes better than the ufc and I always thought ufc should add more weight classes. The fly weights were always a personal favorite of mine because these guys had a lot of endurance as well as athleticism. When wec went into ufc I was soo happy and I watched a lot of mighty mouse and rooted for that guy since the beginning. He is the goat for sure.
