i really hate the fact that Oprah deceided to bring on JLO and celebrate her success right infront of Selena's grieving family. i feel really bad for the parents and the sister for having to sit through that interview and watch as someone else rose from the fall of another

I feel like she’s still in character, maybe just bc she was around Selena’s family right here. But the laugh and voice was still in the Selena voice, persona, etc. Damn that’s a lot of pressure lol especially on Oprah too?? Sheesh!! 😅

I Remember being a teen and I was so excited that Oprah was putting this on her show!! I waited ALL WEEK!! Then I sat down and watched it and She Seriously gave them less then 10 minutes!! 7:30 to be exact! On a Show that lasted over 40 minutes. The rest of the show was devoted to her book club! I was Very!! Very offended!!

I never knew Selena spoke English before Spanish. As a half Puerto Rican that doesn’t speak Spanish, it’s cool to see that such a big figure in Hispanic culture can relate to that to me. Even if she isn’t here anymore. Usually i feel almost “fake” for not knowing Spanish and for being only half, like I don’t count lol

That’s why the movie was so successful. She died “so recently” as J-Lo put it 3:15 , and the family was there for every aspect of it- making sure it was accurate and respectful.

Rip 🌹 🙏 ❤❤💔💔🙏 I started listening to Selena's music when I was in the all-girls school in Texas that was the first time I heard her sing when I was living away in school and I fell in love with her music and also being Latina Puerto Rican living in New York.❤💔❤️
