@@tlee4218 I can agree with what you are saying to some degree but, then again no I disagree. If we are what we eat then we must recall that Oprah lived on southern fried foods for decades and she is still sharp as a knife. I tried to watch her everyday after school but if my parents happened to come home and catch me watching tv they would immediately shut it off. I was always forced to do extra curricular school activities, like track, joining the community swim team… Anything not be sedentary. During the summer, my mother would drop me off at the library. But in college, I was on my own, and allowed to watch Oprah every single day. Unfortunately I am not the most successful I should’ve taken my 20s and 30s to date like my life depended on it. I should not have wasted so much time focusing on school and career and I should’ve frozen my eggs. Oprah didn’t teach us that.

@@HH-gv8mx , you don't know that you would have found a good match for you during those years, if you had spent them "dating like [your] life depended on it." If you can't have kids now, you might have been infertile at the time (like me). It probably isn't good to have regrets like that, since you really can't say how things would have turned out. My mom spent her entire career working & advocating on behalf of & for women until she retired a year ago. There are currently 5 generations of women, alive & well in my family, & when you grow up in an environment surrounded by so many intelligent & courageous women, you see that women are strong & must support eachother! PLEASE get rid of daylight savings. The country will be eternally grateful. I want it Oprah's way...Spring Forward forever!!
@perryelyod48709 ай бұрын
Where I live, the sun comes up at 6 am, the sun sets at 6 pm, 365 days a year (within a few minutes). We're always on Central Standard Time. I do however get to go back to my birth country in their summer, and experience daylight until after 10 pm. I do agree though with a standardized time that never alters through the year. We're no longer an agricultural based society working the fields.
@Avery_42729 ай бұрын
Sounds like you mean keep daylight saving time as the year-round standard. And yes, I agree!
@flenif22479 ай бұрын
We have daylight savings as a safety issue. So that it's light out in the morning for our most vulnerable citizens (kids at bus stops, females at a bus stop). And same at night. Stay light longer. So you gain more usable time.
@thekapiticoaster9 ай бұрын
It depends where on the globe you are, as some places have really short, dark days in winter. But, if we have to stick with a time all year round, I'd want it to be Daylight Savings time/summer time, not standard time.
