HUGE mistake i made is that trying to get excellent if unit is not captain is not useful. While yes they can't increase the captain ability for the anniversary units it can still increase their first boosting multiplier so it IS worth doing for maximum damage. If you are getting their second type of boosting instead THEN there is no point trying for the excellent

I think each hit has a value. For example 1 - good, 2 - great, 3 - perfect, 4 - excellent. As long as your the average sum of your values is 4 rounded down (3.6 - 4) you should get an excellent. Even with one good and 7 excellent you will get an excellent :)

am i missing something with action special? the action special plays normally but the circles dont show up tap timing circles game is updated, luffy is captain, EX requirements are met it doesnt even show in the trial quest it just plays like any other special, no tap timing circles are shown

That's weird, maybe "fixing resources" from the top green menu at the starting screen can help?

@@reaper5118 nvm you just need to switch "Action special auto resolve" off in the Options menu. It's right below the "Play action special once a day". Thank you tho!

@@reaper5118 really? xd u mentioned the play action special once a day but not the other one 😂 it took me too long to figure it out LMAO xd Also i noticed when you use an action special with a character that has a support on (like for example an ace support that removes DEF UP on enemies on the new luffy) but you reset the game before that support effect proc's, the support effect will never go off since the action special doesnt reset with the game, so u lost both

@@abyssalyhorm Oh yeeeeah my bad, you right! They do seem to be some bugs around action special in general that need to be addressed

I’ve found that using action special on a stage that gets rid of boost like PKA Blackbeard all you gotta do is exit out of game and your characters are back out and the slot boost stays.
