Why is Trei still talking about the drums like Hitch doesnt do that in other events too? He would have brought them even if Faze was hosting. And every team can do that shit, custom walkouts, drums, whatever. All they had to do was ask the league and esports engine, just like Optic did, they still had to ask. Optic didn’t do anything that other teams weren’t able to do. Other teams hustled don’t try hard enough to go above and beyond. I don’t think we should be holding Optic back from doing cool things because other teams won’t. Hitch already said if other teams wanted to do something like the drums or a special walkout, they would’ve been able to, but they didn’t even try… that’s not Optic’s fault.

Actually, Superbowl is NOT excluded from any of the final teams. The location is set prior to season and the Home team can very well make it to the Superbowl and play at their home field. Also, ALL CDL teams had opportunities to have something done for their team, like Optic, but no Org took a step towards having something done. You can't say Champs need to be "neutral" in terms of "activations" when the Vanguard Champs was in LA and 100 Thieves had an entire Star Wars Kylo Ken walkout and won. I love the content, btw. You guys are awesome.

Just so you know in the NFL the team orgs bid to host the SuperBowl. If the team that wins the bid wins and makes ot to the superbowl that year, they 100% have homefeild advantage for that Superbowl. And it's happened before. This wouldn't be an issue if OpTic didn't make it to Champs and even if they didn't make it to Sunday. But bc they did now its an advantage? Hecs said other orgs had the opportunity to bid for it too and no1 did. Their fault, specially the other top 4 teams.

20:23 pred did have a fantastic champs weekend BUT he was also the biggest underperformer during their slump. Now im not one of the people that wanted him dropped, but calling him out for "LayG" etc. and then having them change his style a bit and it working, and then shoving it in our faces like we were wrong is wild.. his pace was at times hurting the team, we claimed he was capable of running and ape-ing people, he came out and did it and it worked 🤯. He didnt need to get dropped, obviously those people were fake fans, but he did need to adjust pace better, which he did and boom champs

Yeah from the competitors POV i can see that unless you’re optic then that means you’re some “villain” and it’s basically forced. Also feel like some guys (or all) gotta breakout of their comfort zone a bit and bring their personalities when the cameras are on them at least. Chances are I (or any viewer) will attach to the player and for some, potentially the team the player is on as well. Faded ass take. Shottzy had the highest kd all weekend, besides Sunday. But the plays Shotzzy made is what bailed them out. Watch any of the optic post Champs content and every player says that Shotzzy was playing out of his mind. Glad AG played good too.. bc he needed it to make up for not performing when he was struggling. Also I think it's a very small portion of people that said to drop Pred.. who goes on reddit? Tiny percentage of ppl.. the real fans new Pred would bounce back. But saying he's the reason they won was bc of him is kinda Faded. It was a whole team effort and AG playing how he SHOULD play helped. But Shotzzy was still carrying even when Pred wasn't performing to his standard.

I hated the NY change this year. Even though Sib has been FRYING toward the end of the year, what they gained in firepower/slaying, they lost comms and the selfless playstyle Priestahh brought to that team. The listen-ins in this years GF compared to last years was night and day. I don't think the Abezy/Simp duo breaks up... there's no great sub that can fill either roie. But I do think the duo needs to split from Cell. Cell is one of the best players in the league, yes. But they need new blood in that team. Either Ghosty, Illey, or Priestahh would be great for them if they want to stick with a pro. Or even Gio/Attach or Abuzah. Unless they win EWC then fuck it run it back. I think the only clear upgrade path for Ultra is replacing Insight, but holy fuck does that dude fry on LAN when it matters most. And unless they get Hicksy again, dropping envoy doesnt make a whole lot of sense. He'd go to NY or back to LAT and make both teams way better. Aches is right when he said that Champs should always be hosted by Activision. But if theyre going to bitch out and refuse to do it after firing 90% of their employees and just want to throw an event like Major 4, then fuck those guys and let Optic host it 10 times out of 10. Or if any other org actually wanted to show they cared about showing Cod as an esport, let them host it instead. It's crazy to me that Hecz seems like he is the ONLY one who cares about cod and then when they throw an event, look how absolutely insane it is? Personally I say fuck activision for not giving two flying fucks about their own league.

Abeezy and shottzy are not similar players, but they do play a similar role, so its time we stop expecting shottzy to have a 1.2 every map like simp/hydra because he is closer to an entry then he is the slow slaying smg. Pred should more accurately be comparable to simp/hydra and when you compare shottzy to players that play a similar role like cleanX/abeezy/kismet he was HEAD AND SHOULDERS the best player at that style of play this season. Bro what are you talking about lol. Moving cell to a flex won’t fix anything man. He was considered a flex for years and he still was way to slow. Also why tf would you bring back a known quantity in slasher when they had very little success together? Not many people wanna hear this but the way you make this faze team a serious threat is by getting rid of Cellium and bringing on Ghosty. Ghosty can be the IGL that teams desperately needs. That’s the only upgrade that would make the faze team better
