Heres a question/thought i had. If optic didnt pickup kenny and had some other hypothetical player as their 4th this season. Kenny most likely would have been on Boston and the team probably would have been Slasher/priestahh/kenny/Snoopy does that team have the same woes as Boston did starting the season? I think kenny is a less intimidating leadership figure that could mentor snoopy if he was running a smg alongside him, but im unsure if that hypothetical team slays enough if kenny doesn't have a Ww2 Kenny type of performance IMO

The whole Pred topic. The majority of the criticism is that he doesn’t get in enough fights during the match’s not his KD. His engagements are low and the whole laying down cheese stuff came up because instead of playing like bocage he slows down and Trys to catch them off guard in a corner every time instead of surprising them by pushing with shotzzy or challenging them

Something that still I simply can't understand is why there are no collaboration with the league and the devs and make sure they have access to servers that are actually on the LAN at the Majors. That way it would be a true LAN and not a bunch of players sitting on LAN connecting to a server on the internet.

I think the community has correctly been on Pred a little for this year. While he has definitely been consistent and good this year he has not shown the pop of ceiling anywhere near his van and MW2 levels. Especially against top teams. I don’t think we’ve seen a single “pred on Tuscan P5-P1” or “pred dropping 15 on embassy search twice” this year in a meaningful game. He was brought in as a superstar. Where is the takeover?

If I am NY, I know that we literally shit on Toronto and just choked, a lot different than not being able to hang. They absolutely fried them but just pushed p5 instead of rotating to p1 and that was a 60 point swing then turtled in the control. Sib also played pretty well, he was the only one rotating to p1 to win in the 1st hp and Skyz is the one who dropped a .8 and over extended costing. Trei nailed their actual problems, its not Sib. My prediction is they actually bounce back, take out faze in an upset at the major then Optic wins the GF with Faze out.

Everyone needs to stop overrating prestieh. Hydra was better last year and kiz is not even a top 10 sub this year. Onto of that the other 3 best teams all upgraded just as much as nysl if not more. They are supposed to be the 4th best team based on their roster and a game with harder to read spawns, 150hp and red dots all make the better players more impactful. If they upgrade from kiz they’ll instantly jump Toronto and be fighting optic for 2

@@mkwsoxfan they beat faze in a couple of matches with simp having his worst game of his pro career, a team that didn’t fit well with 2 main AR’s and needed hydra to near enough be AW scump level. There’s a reason faze finished 1st in the standings overall and not nysl. Put presteih on this team for sib and they are still the 4th best team so the talk of “oh if they had prestieh” is useless because he isn’t better than sib. Sib is purely being scapegoated because they won 3 events last year and won’t win any this year but if kiz and hydra were as good as last year it’s a completely different story but nobody wants to talk about how bad kiz is this year in respawn or that hydra isn’t by far and away the best player at this game which was never gonna continue into a new game with such big changes. Hydra last year was basically karma in bo2. Best player by far and carried a team to event wins. It really is that simple with nysl so unless they add another top 7/8 player to pair with hydra they won’t compete for a win in any cod title again while faze and optic have these stacked squads

Compare NY to faze 1:1 player for player NY should NOT have been beating faze but they did consistently. Standings don't matter major wins do, NY had 3 faze had 1. End of discussion there. We don't get to look at the faze trio plus slasher (a top 20 player of all time) and go back and give them a million excuses for them not winning, they simply failed to convert wins, and it was quite frankly embarrassing. I won't take "simp didn't like mw2" or "abeezy didn't like vanguard" as a valid excuse, these are professionals paid 500k a year and they had 2 off years where all they have to show for it is one chip and 2 "top of the standings" fake accomplishments. Again I'm not saying priestahh is a beast, S tier, or any of that. But you don't win at the highest level of competition without giving your 25% necessary for your team to win, it simply doesn't happen
