Machine Description: A machine vision based fully automated solution with auto feeding and automated sorting mechanism to meet the requirements of ammunition inspection. The system consists of feeder & conveyor for part transportation purpose. Inspection of the parts are carried out with machine vision where a camera captures the image of the part. Software controls the camera, acquire images from the camera, carry out measurements and analysis and send command to the sorter mechanism. The sorter mechanism classifies according to the type of files.
ACCURACY: ± 10 µm ;
SPEED OF INSPECTION (OK+NOK): 180 to 200 ppm (Depend upon part size & feed rate)
Machine will be consisting of: (1) Industrial PC, (2) Monitor, (3) Digital Cameras (USB/Ethernet), (4) Precise Lens & Lights, (5) Vision tool analysis with Halcon engine, (6) MVtech, (7) Software named VISIMASTER, (8) One 150 L hopper feeder for part feeding, (9( Drum Feeder, (10) Feeding Conveyor, (11) 1 small bin of 10-12 L for collecting NOK parts, (12) 1 bin of 15 - 20 L for collecting OK parts.
