should've made it with feathers if you're going for that form where the wings just flap. if you were going to go for the bat-like wings, you need to have the wings pull into the body because when the wings don't pull back into the body on the way up they encounter the air above it and that causes the wings to catch the air and push the vehicle downwards. bird feathers allow air to move between them on the way up so they don't have a downward force exerted on them when the wings go up. bats have to pull their wings in in order to not have a downward force on them aside from gravity.

There is an interesting design of aircraft, but they rarely talk about it, because this thing is secret. The topic of pulsed plasma thrusters has been developed since the early 60s (see PPT - Pulsed plasma thruster) - they are usually designed for spacecraft. What is the actual purpose of pouring money into research like this, i mean, in the end, is there, other than ammusement, a practical aplication for one of these machines? We still can't make a machine that consistantly lightly burns bread to an acceptible degree. Where and when is there gonna be a use for these things that will result in sales that will recoup the millions spent in the R&D?
