jump/glide you want to make your glide intentional so that you dont accidentally spike yourself because there are times where you would want to jump but you were actually in the air already cuz of an opponents ability/misperception.

if you press ctrl while looking at the map (M) it will also give you more information about the position of the enemies and main objectives.

I have found success in overloading my ctrl key, for 3 actions. One for level up modifier, Two sneaking, three interact. Pretty good so far. Note my ctrl is on a thumb cluster as well, but you could do something similar with those 3 actions for another key and appears to have no major conflicts.

I think a more concise goal for keybinding is that you want movement on one hand and action on the other as much as your hardware and body will allow. Keeping them separated greatly minimizes any clashing with binds. Hope this helps make your life easier when explaining in the future. o7

Very nice! I would like to add that using glide on Jin dashes with Amplifier messes with the cooldowns of your Lshifts, like they become longer compared to if you didn't glide. Also if you glide right after a dash on Jin you don't get Amplifier stacks for those dashes

Yes, this is a known bug that also works on characters like Brall. People are abusing this by stacking Q amp, and dash gliding to not reset it.

I have my abilities 2, 4, 5 on the side mouse buttons and Dash as RMB. Quite happy with that. (I play dash-heavy hunters, like Shiv/Joule, so RMB just made sense to me) Q, E for Powers.

Great advice. Sadly, I won't be using much of it. I'm just built different, I guess because I've always used a controller in my left hand, and a mouse in my right hand to play PC games. Really happy that the Razer Naga and other "MMO" style mouse exist though because I used to have to get very creative with my keybinds before they did.

I wanted to ask, do you think with proper controller support in the future playing with a controller would put you in a disadvantage? I come from League so I'm comfortable with the keyboard but my highest skill it's on controller because of competitive fighting games and difficult platform games.

I've almost got my perfect settings but I don't know where I want glide if not on spacebar. I have Q on mouse 4, ult on mouse 5, powers on F and Q, interact still on E. That all works fantastically for me except I want to be able to jump and glide without using the fingers I'd use for WASD which means putting it on thumb or pinky. Thumb only gets space bar and pinky could maybe go with caps lock which is kind of annoying to use in general but then it'll be tricky to dash and glide. I can see the wisdom in separating glide and jump, but I just can't find somewhere to put em. Maybe if I had an extra mouse button or something. I also can't find any combo of deadzone+max distance that I like. Best for me has been like 4.5 deadzone and 7 ish max. I really like having a decent sized deadzone so the camera isn't fucking with me when someone is right in my face. Honestly kinda tempted to put deadzone and max at 0 so it's just always max distance and I don't have to deal with any camera issues.

About character ground circle, for some reason they made it useless if you are really high (higher than a jump), it becomes really WIDE and then, useless, feel it as kingpin main, can't really know if I land this stun while flying above...

Whats your/you guys´s take on accuracy with a low Deadzone? (600 DPI) Since the lower the Deadzone the earlier your screen starts moving and your aim will start shifting vertically when aiming diagonally or is the vertical shift of your aim not that noticeable since the panning speed isnt as drastic/fast when the distance between the end of the Deadzone and the start of the Maxzone is larger, in contrast to a larger Deadzone where you start panning later/further out but then only need to move your mouse a little to reach max pan? When playing Shyv I liked it to be right at/behind my aa-range so I can dash and aim more acurately, but since I started primarily playing Bishop its too much mouse movement to keep up if I want to scout constantly like you showed at the end. Right now I´ll propbly try to lower my Deadzone and take the loss in accuracy for more consistent visibility and response time/compfortability. (Maybe I could just get used to move my mouse alot all over the place) Hmmmm?!

WASD isn't even close to optimal. It's not an ergonomic resting position and you don't have a different finger for each movement key, so your movement is limited. For example strafing up and down is slow. I personally binded up to space and moved jump to my pinky finger.

By your definition of optimal, you should have your E and R bound to the side mouse keys. Never have to take your hand off WASD to cast, unless its an item or power.
